Little by little the internet took over our daily work. Today we can communicate with people who are thousands of miles away and if we want, we can see them with incredible ease via video calls. Before the creation of the internet, when one wanted to do any homework or research they had to go directly to the library and take notes in a notebook, but now we can do all kinds of research through the worldwide internet network from the comfort of our homes and we can even look for information while we walk, eat or do something else, since many portable devices have made our daily lives much easier.
Poco a poco el internet se fue adueñando de nuestro quehacer diario. Hoy en día podemos comunicarnos con alguien que está a miles de kilómetros de distancia e incluso, si queremos, podemos verlo con una facilidad increíble. Antes del internet para hacer cualquier tarea o investigación había que ir directamente a la biblioteca y tomar notas en un cuaderno, pero ahora podemos hacer todo tipo de consulta por medio de la web o red mundial del internet desde la comodidad de nuestras casas e incluso mientras caminamos, comemos o hacemos alguna cosa.

Este invento del internet ha dado paso una nueva generación que lo usa a cada momento para hacer todo tipo de cosas como comprar, pagar cuentas, conseguir parejas, etcétera. No hay duda que el internet ha hecho cambiar el mundo.

I found it relevant to write this because hardly anyone knows anything about it and that women can not only be beautiful and good actresses but also great inventors.
Casualmente hace unas semanas, el lunes 9 de noviembre para ser exactos, se cumplían 106 años del nacimiento de Hedy Lamarr, esta fue una actrices austraico-amenricana quien caracterizó a Dalila en la famosa película de 1949 Sansón & Dalila y una de las más hermosas de Holliwood. Ahora, ustedes se preguntarán —¿qué tiene que ver esta actriz con el internet?—, pues les cuento que ella era también una gran inventora y autodidacta de cosas relacionadas con la ciencia, Lamarr hacía esto después de actuar en sus películas y fue quien inventó y desarrolló una patente relacionada con algo llamado “espectro ensanchado de frecuencias” , realmente yo no sé nada de estas cosas pero gracias a este invento se logró años después desarrollar las telecomunicaciones las cuales incluyen el WiFi y el Bluetooth. Me pareció relevante escribir esto porque casi nadie sabe algo al respecto, y de que las mujeres no solo pueden ser hermosas y buenas actrices sino también grandes inventoras.
