Anger and mental health - The correlation!

One of the common issues about our mental health is anger. There is no argument on this that anger has no good. But it's true sometimes it's really hard to have control over how we react and respond. Also, if we choose to hold on we still can feel angry.

But I think if we become more conscious about the consequences of anger and how it affects our mental wellness; we can make better choices.

Anger has a direct connection with our level of stress. We usually think that releasing anger will help us to reduce stress. But in reality, that's not true. We adopt to be angrier and never learn to manage stress in a healthy way.

So you see, we have a misconception about this. Now let me give you an example to make it more clear!

If you feel angry about any of the acts of your partner; either you choose to deal with it in a healthy way or you can show anger instade. If you choose the second one, it may solve the problem temporarily. But in long run, you will fail to identify what makes your partner act like that, what you need to improve your relationship, and all.

So you see, anger doesn't help you in any way. And most of the time it can't bring any positive results. And when talking about mental wellness, we have to understand that showing anger brings a temporary winning feeling and gives us temporary pleasure. But it impacts negatively on our mental wellness. Because it doesn't help us to learn how to manage anger, stress, and deal with problems in a healthy way.

Think about this before you choose to be angry. I hope this gonna help!
