Walthamstow wetlands

Just found this beautiful walking location nestled away in East London, Walthamstow fisheries.

It is part of Walthamstow Wetlands which, is a 211 ha nature reserve in Walthamstow, It is one of the largest urban wetland nature reserves in Europe and is very important for local wildlife due to its position within the Lee Valley; a byway for migrating, wintering and breeding birds.

We saw a beautiful family of swans who stayed around for a long time. The swan is connected to the symbolism of the Sun, light, vitality, growth, purity and joy. Whenever i see a pair I always think of harmonious unions too.
