Greetings members of this prestigious platform that make life day by day on it. Today I want to participate in the challenge of the week that ecoTrain is proposing regarding what people don't talk about enough? We live immersed in a society where problems, hustle and bustle and diseases are at the surface and sometimes we forget important things that we want and should express but we feel self-conscious.

INTRODUCTION

Being able to express feelings and thoughts with someone around us when something is weighing us down is refreshing for all women and even more so if it is of our emotions. However, can men do or say the same thing? In other words, it makes it easier for them to express their pent up emotions with someone in their life. Why as every human being feels that urgent need to talk to someone not only about sports and other topics in common.

The issue is that men cannot express their feelings as openly as women do because nowadays society tends to label them as weak and may even doubt their manhood, which can lead to depression.

In this topic we will develop some reasons why it is difficult for men to talk about their feelings and what are the possible side effects of this scenario.

MEN AND THEIR EMOTIONS

As mentioned above, the simple fact that men want to express their emotions can lead society to think that they are homosexuals or that they lack character, without taking into account that like all human beings they lack a basic need, which in this case is to be heard and to show their repressed emotions, which helps them connect with everyone around them and gives them greater self-confidence.

On the contrary, for a man to have the freedom to cry, to talk about his worries, his grudges and disappointments is, in my opinion, a brave thing to do, since it is a proof that they accept each other with their virtues and defects. Even so it is difficult to see or hear that a man cries and if he does he does not want it to be seen or disclosed for fear of what people will say or because he is labeled as a sensitive person, which for men far from being a virtue can become a great defect.

SETTING NEW STEREOTYPES

We are in the XXI century, where society must learn and understand that both men and women have repressed feelings and emotions that must be expressed otherwise we run the risk of becoming frustrated and bitter people who find it difficult to interact with people in their social life and all because of these compressed feelings that embitter their lives and do not let them think clearly.

I particularly think that helping to change this erroneous mentality that men do not cry or do not have feelings is the main solution to modify this lifestyle in which we live, because since childhood we instill in them these phrases "do not cry, that is not for men". Sometimes when we are raising them we tend to make them stronger in character compared to girls, because they are children and we must create the habit of not being vulnerable and let them collapse so easily by external factors.

The above described are the main factors that make it difficult for men today to express their emotions, feelings and even certain thoughts about a problem or situation that concerns them.
