The effect of global warming on our environment

What does global warming actually mean?
Let’s take a look at the simplest measure of what the phenomenon of global warming is all about. Global warming is a phenomenon that occurs when a greenhouse effect is caused by the emission of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, into our atmosphere.

The result of this increase in these gases are an increase in the temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere and the oceans. Most of the greenhouse gases are emitted from factories, power plants, cars, airplanes, and ships.

The climate of the Earth is warming because of the greenhouse effect. This is a type of indirect heating that is caused by a build up of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. While it is impossible to pinpoint the exact cause of global warming, we can say that carbon dioxide is one of the major greenhouse gases. The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased by 40% in the last 50 years.

As we look back in time, the Earth was completely free from any greenhouse gases. However, scientists attribute this greenhouse effect to mankind’s industrialization. Carbon dioxide is made in the atmosphere by the combustion of fossil fuels such as oil, gas, and coal. It is also created by the breakdown of organic material in the oceans. Therefore, it is obvious that pollution in our air and water, and the production of greenhouse gases are one of the main causes of global warming.

In other words, burning fossil fuels is the source of the greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming.

Another significant factor in global warming is the ocean’s water. When seawater heats up, it releases its energy into the atmosphere. This makes the water temperature warmer. When there is a rise in the water temperature, there is a rise in the sea level. This is due to the melting of ice at the poles. This also causes sea level to rise. When sea levels rise, the volume of water that is affected is huge. In many places this is a serious threat, which is why measures have to be taken to stop the rise in sea level.

As the oceans are one of the main sources of greenhouse gases, global warming also affects the oceans. Warmer waters can make it easier for more carbon dioxide to be released into the atmosphere. However, in the oceans, the warming is not as great as it is on land.

Another climate change issue we have to deal with is global warming’s effect on weather. Some weather patterns have changed dramatically because of global warming. For instance, in the northern hemisphere, the winters are getting colder. This is due to a decrease in the temperatures of the ocean and the land. On the other hand, summers are getting warmer.
This is because the earth is absorbing a lot more energy from the sun. Warmer air causes more water vapor to be released into the atmosphere. It also increases the amount of clouds in the atmosphere. More clouds lead to more rainfall, and this is why we have more rain in the southern hemisphere.

There is overall change in the weather that is brought about by global warming. It is also a huge concern for global warming activists.

What are some of the effects of global warming?

Global warming is now affecting a wide variety of aspects of our daily lives. These effects are called climate change. The change in the weather, which has been brought about by global warming, is not good for most part of the world. It is one of the most serious issues facing humanity today. Global warming has increased the number of extreme weather events, which is causing havoc in a lot of countries. This type of weather is leading to droughts and floods, which are endangering the lives of many people. This type of weather is also causing a huge decline in the harvest in some areas of the world.

The decreasing rainfall and the excessive heat is killing the crops. We have seen it happen in many other countries, including the United States and some part of Asia. Many of these people depend on the harvest for their livelihood. They now have to rely on food aid.

The same thing is happening in other countries. The developing countries of the world are extremely vulnerable to the effects of global warming, as they are more vulnerable to these events than the developed countries.

We are all part of this happening, let work together and stop global warming.
