EVER GROW YOUR OWN CAYENNE PEPPERS?

We sure love to!

For years now, we've been growing our own peppers. One of the more common hot peppers for culinary and medicinal use is the cayenne. They can be fantastically productive and since they are a thin walled pepper, they dry easy for storage too. Since we like to save our own seeds, we end up with lots of extra seeds, so we offer them up in our Etsy shop too. Of course, a variety of other seeds are also available, but we finally got the Cayenne seeds listed, so in preparation for this upcoming garden seed, we figured we'd mention it here.

The source of these Cayenne Peppers was An American Homestead, as I was gifted a freshly pulled plant a couple of falls ago, and it was heavy laden with peppers. Interestingly enough, these were a volunteer crop in 2020. I didn't even plant them, but they reseeded themselves! How cool is that? Anyway, here's a pile of photos for you to enjoy!
