Hi Hive, the question on the possibility of the nexus and co- existence of spirituality and technology is both thought- provoking and interesting. Although the two concepts are accorded different denotations, there is a point at which they meet, that is,there is that inextricable relationship between the two concepts. Technology, in it's most simplistic meaning, is the application of scientific ideas and methods to solve perceived human problems. Spirituality, on the other hand,is that state of inter-relationship between man and his maker(usually a more superior being that exists in the realm of spirit beings). Such relationships would include religious practices such as daily prayers, consecrations, devotions and studying the scriptures, etc.
The relationship between religion and spirituality is very fluid. Just as man depends on the end products of technology to solve the daily problems that he encounters in virtually all facets of his life, he also depends on his spiritual life in order to maintain a congenial connect with his maker who dwells in the higher realm- the sphere of the spirit beings. Thus, to consistently enjoy that continued fellowship, his spirituality is sacrosanct.
A cursory look at the 21st century world reveals an ever increasing technological advancement that cuts across all facets of human life including his spiritual life. From the discovery of paper; which has made possible the publications of religious literature including the Bible, the Quran and literature of other religions, other technological discoveries have contributed towards making man's spiritual life more rewarding. Currently, the Bible and Quran have been condensed in mobile phones. The same is true of song books, and other gospel publications.

Another relationship between technology and spirituality is evident when one considers the ascension of Jesus from Mount Olive. The Bible records that as He was addressing his followers, His feet were lifted from the mountain. Up and up he went; defying completely the law of gravity until He was completely eclipsed by clouds. Again, it is also recorded in the Bible that at rapture of the saints in the moribund of days, the human body, in order to defeat gravity, will have to wear an incorruptible body; it will take on immortal bodies in a twinkle of an eye. Furthermore, the immortal bodies will operate at the speed of thoughts or imagination. For instance, the moment when a person imagines or thinks of going to New York, in that instance,he finds himself there without having to go through the rigorous hurdles of flight bookings and all that associate with it. This again illustrates the nexus between technology and religion.
Still on the immortal bodies, the Bibles says that the immortal body will be telepathic. This implies that immortal or incorruptible bodies will be armed with the ability to dissect through one's thoughts at a distance without the communication of those thoughts or feelings. All of these goes to bring the nexuses of spirituality and religion to the fore; to testify to the fact that there is an intertwined relationship between the two concepts of spirituality and technology.
