"What actions do you think are necessary in your locality?"
In my town there are some problems that affect us as a community and deserve to be addressed, for example the problem of garbage, the urban cleaning does not happen on time and downspouts or garbage deposits pile up and create pollution, it is already a general problem, the community is out of our hands, to solve the problem of garbage. Inadequate waste management and solid waste cause serious environmental problems to the land, which are harmful and cause diseases, kill wildlife, water pollution, soil contamination, among others. It is important to recycle those objects that we have at home and create some useful object, so we are saving the environment.
Another problem is the burning of garbage in adjacent areas and in the community itself, and there are no competent agencies to put a stop to this. They constantly burn garbage and the odors and smoke invade the urbanization. People have no conscience when doing this type of thing, they think it is the best way out, with this attitude they are damaging the population, contaminating it and destroying Mother Earth. On several occasions we have called the firemen to put out the fire, they have been burning for a long time and we have made war on them so that they become aware and together we can find a solution to the problem because it belongs to all of us.
It is sad to see how abandoned my community is, despite having some ornate garden buildings, but we can not cover the sun with a finger the situation of deterioration and neglect by the sanitation for garbage collection. On several occasions there have been cleanup days, some collaborate, others do not, we see the apathy and apathy of the people, I think it is lack of awareness and education. A commission went to the offices of the urban sanitation and introduced a letter requesting that they visit our community. The response was that some units are damaged and others have no fuel (gasoline).
On several occasions we have held a cleaning day exclusively in the building where I live, the owners of each building have organized ourselves and we keep the green areas in good condition, in other buildings the surroundings are in very bad condition and the urbanization looks bad. I would like us to organize a general cleaning day to improve the green areas and pick up the debris that disfigure the urbanization, there is too much garbage from dried plants that have been cut and left stored in these areas, empty plastic bottles and glass.
The most beautiful things that my community has are mango trees that adorn the entire urbanization and many leafy trees. This urbanization is characterized by having a lot of oxygen lung by the amount of trees that are planted. It needs to be rescued and look better, that all the debris of dry bushes are collected and taken to the landfill.
It is important to socialize the good management of solid waste, because it is one of the wastes that are most used by the community because we are a consumer society, then we use the product after it is used we throw it where it provokes us, that can not be, we must create awareness. This is a serious problem for the environment. Reducing, recycling and reusing is very important, it helps not to contaminate the planet and other useful objects can be made from solid waste such as bottles, plastic, glass, cardboard, etc.
