Hello friends of the @ecotrain community. I was really surprised that the theme of spirituality was chosen for this new year. But I really love it. My surprise is because it is very common that in the course of hectic days, the eagerness to get what is necessary or go after not only the satisfaction of basic needs but also desires, many leave aside their spirituality.
I also totally agree with some of the approaches of this new QOTW, I mention to you what those are:
✔️ In general the world tries to worship God in different ways, even with different names.
✔️ Now more than ever, in the face of so many problems, of different kinds, it is important to devote attention to the subject of spirituality.
✔️ Even if we have differences, we must be tolerant and respect the right and the possibility that everyone has to publish and share their thoughts even if we do not share them.
✔️Spirituality is not a religion. I consider rather that, religion is a way to satisfy and cultivate spirituality.
Hola amigos de la comunidad de @ecotrain. La verdad es que me sorprendió mucho, que fuera elegido el tema de espiritualidad para este nuevo año. Pero en realidad me encanta. Mi sorpresa es, porque es muy frecuente que en el transcurrir de los días agitados, el afán de conseguir lo necesario o ir en pos no solo de la satisfacción de las necesidades básicas sino también de los deseos, muchos dejan de lado su espiritualidad.
También estoy totalmente de acuerdo con algunos de los planteamientos de este nuevo QOTW, te menciono cuales son esos:
✔️ En general el mundo trata de adorar a Dios de diferentes maneras, incluso con diferentes nombres.
✔️ Ahora más que nunca, ante tantos problemas, de diferente índole, es importante dedicarle atención al tema de la espiritualidad.
✔️ Aunque tengamos diferencias, debemos ser tolerantes y respetar el derecho y la posibilidad que tiene cada uno de publicar y compartir sus pensamientos aunque no los compartamos.
✔️ La espiritualidad no es una religión. Considero mas bien que, la religión es una forma de satisfacer y cultivar la espiritualidad.

Me gusta mucho también, la forma en que fue planteada la pregunta, porque lo que se espera, es una opinión personal de cada quien y no la conceptualización en sí de la palabra. Y básicamente la espiritualidad es una cualidad o una condición innata en el ser humano. Esto es algo que inequívocamente nos diferencia de los animales.
Y esta cualidad no es más que la conciencia de esa parte del ser humano, la parte espiritual, que es diferente a la carnal, pero que forma parte de un todo. Esa conciencia también incluye el reconocimiento de un ser superior del cual dependemos, un ser espiritual, un poder superior. Pero además, la espiritualidad, también forma parte de nuestras necesidades. Sin embargo, a diferencia de las necesidades físicas no están fácil de identificar o en muchos casos de satisfacer y es más fácil pasarla por alto o dejarla de lado.

Sin embargo, la necesidad espiritual se manifiesta de forma diferente y requiere una atención diferente, y es contraria a los “deseos” carnales.
En mi país (Venezuela) hay un dicho que dice que "al cuerpo hay que darle lo que pida" (sin importar lo que eso sea), es decir satisfacer los deseos carnales, los cuales son diferentes a las necesidades físicas básicas. La realidad demuestra que quienes viven una vida de esa manera, tienden a llevar una vida vacía, sin propósito, con baja autoestima, autodestructiva o incluso han llegado a dañar a otros.

If we recognize the existence of a creator, then we recognize the right that he has to direct us, that he knows us better than anyone else and his advice will be the best.
Entonces así como cuando tenemos conciencia de que tenemos hambre, porque nos gruñe el estómago, o se nos cierran los ojos porque tenemos sueño y entonces buscamos satisfacer esas necesidades. La conciencia de nuestra necesidad espiritual, nos llevara a la búsqueda de su satisfacción y el proceso para satisfacerla es la espiritualidad, porque entonces manifestamos esa cualidad.
Como mencione antes, si la espiritualidad incluye el reconocimiento de un ser superior, espiritual, el Creador, por medio del cual existimos, entonces la satisfacción de esa necesidad incluye esforzarse por conocerlo. Si reconocemos la existencia de un creador, entonces reconocemos el derecho que tiene de dirigirnos, que nos conoce mejor que nadie y sus consejos serán los mejores.

Esto nos llevará a seguir su guía y esforzarnos por vivir en conformidad con sus principios. La espiritualidad, a su vez nos ayuda a cultivar otras cualidades imposibles de ocultar antes otros como lo son el amor, la sabiduría, la humildad, la bondad entre muchas otras. Así, en la búsqueda de esa satisfacción, es decir de la espiritualidad, encontraremos respuestas a las interrogantes más grandes de la vida.
Por ejemplo, ¿por qué le suceden cosas malas a la gente buena?, ¿por qué sufrimos?, ¿lo que me pasa es un castigo de Dios?, ¿hay esperanza para un futuro?, ¿hay vida después de la muerte?, entre muchas, lo cual nos dará tranquilidad, esperanza, nos ayudara a ver el futuro con optimismo, a ser pacientes con otros y con nosotros mismos y a ser felices a pesar de los problemas.

Although as I have already mentioned it is very true that spirituality brings as a consequence an accumulation of other good qualities, such as kindness, mercy, respect, humility. Being good is not synonymous with being spiritual.

Muchas personas creen que ser bueno, respetuoso y no hacerle mal a nadie es ser espiritual, sin embargo no lo es. Aunque como ya mencione es muy cierto que la espiritualidad trae como consecuencia un cúmulo de otras buenas cualidades, como la bondad, la misericordia, el respeto, la humildad. El ser bueno no es sinónimo de ser espiritual.
Ahora después de haber escrito tanto, no se si logre responder a la pregunta, espero que sí.
