The way things are factory farmed I don't agree with...
But I can't deny myself what I have evolved to eat.. I'm not sure we'd have canine teeth if we were meant to be strictly herbivore, and hunting up until we started animal husbandry and taming things to factory farm down the road was pretty fair for all parties.. Certainly not how it's done most the time these days sadly however.
