  • 3 cups cooked rice

  • 1⁄2 a cup of gram flour

  • Semolina 1 cup

  • a half teaspoon of turmeric powder

  • 2 tsp red chili powder

  • a half teaspoon of coriander

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 5-6 curry leaves

  • a half cup of green coriander

  • use water and/or oil as required

Preparation steps:

In a bowl, take 3 cups of cooked rise.

In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the spices.


Whole coriander and cumin seeds should be coarsely ground before combining with rice, gram flour, and the other ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

Combine all of the ingredients by hand until they are fully combined.

To make a cutlet, combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl with enough water to make a dough. Form the cutlet as desired.

In a plate take 1 cup of semolina. add slight water. Now rinse the cutlets in semolina powder.


In a pan, take few tea spoons of olive oil. Fry the cutlets until they turn yellow brown.



Hot rice cutlets should be served with chutney or tomato sauce on the side.
