Ecotrain qotw. What Habit and Addict have you developed and which you would like to get rid of?Trying not to be a slave.

Amazing how we watch habit turns into an addiction.

We make something a lifestyle and then with time it turns to be us as we feel incomplete whenever we do not engage in something.

Habit from an English definition is something done repeatedly and sometimes can be done unconsciously and sometimes consciously.

This particular word habit lives in everybody as all have one thing or the other that has become something they do times without number.

And so we won't ignore the fact that there is something in our lives that is repeated either consciously or unconsciously.

But at this stage, one can be able to control it and determining whether to do it or not here becomes a controllable habit.

But then there is a stage of this habit that is uncontrollable a stage where you are being controlled by such a stage where the habit becomes your master a stage where you can't live without it and that stage is called

ADDICTION.

Addiction being a slave to something is what addiction means to me.

When you no longer have control over yourself over something then you have become a slave to it and that takes total control of what you do.

Then talking of myself.

One thing I love to do which has become a habit is sleeping. Considering the positive effect of sleep on humans, everyone will not want to play with his or her sleeping time and the fact that it is a natural phenomenon that everyone has to go through. But then it becomes a bad habit when you do it at the wrong time.

Sleeping when you are not supposed to sleep has become a bad thing for you as a whole since it affects most of your activities.

I have read some biographies of the most successful people who try to tell you how they regulate their sleep, giving it just a few numbers of your time.

I have seen people who sleep just 3 hours out of the 24-hour they have to in each day of their lives.

I can't imagine myself sleeping just for 3 hours when the normal 8 to 10 hours seems not to be enough for me.

This has affected most of my activities. It is a habit that I am trying to regulate and trying as much as possible for me not to become addicted to it.

I don't want to be a slave to sleep and then would want to have it whenever I want not the other way round.

I would love to get to a level where I can be of great success but then one of the things that need to be considered is the time I allocate to sleep.

I want to reduce the amount of time I spend sleeping.

This is something I will want to get reduce not getting rid of it totally since it's natural stuff that can not be done without but can be regulated.

All thanks to the #ecotrain community for this beautiful engagement.
