Here I am trying to answer the question of the week what should we be eating to be healthy and vibrant.

Eating? what do we eat? we eat everything food, water, air, emotions, and information through the sensory organs through the motor organs. But a very important aspect is the food the diet which gives us energy, strength, clarity of mind, strong immunity, and sharpness of sense organs. But it depends upon what food we eat, how we eat when we eat, where we eat, and how much we eat.

Going one by one step:
Food body and health: our Vedic philosophy says food is life. because the body is made by food and food nourishes the body, the mind, and the consciousness of the spirit. The space is the cellular place between bodily cells. Air prana for breathing. fire friction of heat to burn calories, water is life. and life starts from water., the earth means bones, structure, and productivity. all minerals like iron, calcium, zink, sodium, etc. then vegetation starts on earth plants absorb solar energy from sun and sun nourishes consciousness lunar energy from the moon, moon nourishes mind and plant produces food and we all living creature eat food.
food heals and balances our body
psychophysiological balance and nourishment
creating spiritual energy
social well being

All our choice are created by food and the food creates the mood
Find out what our body likes, what food my body easily digests without any problems, what are my emotions after eating the food, did I feel fresh or lethargic or uncomfort more energetic? ask these questions. and start from here. Simply following some typical diet as a fashion does not make sense. listen to your body find the food according to your body's ability, choose food which has prana/life force. do not need to buy expensive food, but possible to get organic fresh food with all qualities of prana and tastes. because for health the taste is more important. when we think about a balanced diet always think of carbs protein, fat, vitamins, and mineral that's ok we learned this in the modern world Vedic diet, we define diet as we take in from any field of perception any mode of intellect means the food in our plate is not only food we eat but what we see, touch, smell, sense, hear, everything becomes food.

We pay a lot of attention only to good food means expensive organic, branded names, but the experience is the way our sensory perceptions are accumulating or digesting healthy or toxic/unhealthy, happy or unhappy, mindful or stressful that react to the psychophysiological functions. chose the food that has a good impact on the mind, which creates such a unique and healthy energy. make the mind positive and vibrant health. the dead, frozen, processed, canned, or leftover has no life force so it makes the mind dull and interferes with normal physical functions,

What we eat
chose the food according to your body If you are tiny, skinny, unstable, or freezing all the time then use more healthy fats like ghee, sesame oil, tahini, and coconut oil. eat cooked warm food, sweet-sour taste grounding food like roots vegetables packed solid diet. keep regular timing of your meals. calm the mind and meditate. avoid cold, frozen, smoothies, or raw salads, especially in cold weather.

if you are aggressive, sharp, hot, or easily irritated then use more cooling down food fresh greens, juicy, and crunchy. dairy sweet fruits, not hot spicy food which makes your personality more aggressive.

If you are lethargic, slow, obese, cool personality uses more hot spicy bitter astringent light food in low quantity. stop overeating and avoid fatty food and dairy sweets.

But for every one frozen, processed, old, leftover warming, again and again, is not good at all

how to eat
Eat mindfully, according to your body's quality, rainbow colors, fresh, and freshly prepared, a superfood with all six tastes, warm, after preparation within 2-3 hours, in calm mind, no electronics or chat on the dining table, chew food properly no emotional interference, like arguments, irritations, or grief, take your own time to eat see the food feel the food, smell the food, and taste the food. regardless of, what kind of diet we have be it vegan, vegetarian, keto, or non-vegetarian. respect the food. eat happily, and show your gratitude.

When do we eat
there are particular times to eat, at least three times a day and each food have a minimum 3 hours gap in between 2 meals. Keep a regular time for breakfast, between 7-9, lunch from 12 to 14, and dinner before 17 - 19. Dinner is best before sunset if possible, avoid late-night dinners because they are hard for the digestive system, accumulated undigested food starts making toxins in the body. Avoid food during a bad emotional state, or if not hungry. eat when feeling hungry. do not overeat. always 1/3 part of the stomach with food 1/3 part with water and 1/3 part with air so the energy production process can be proper.

Where to eat
We believe food has consciousness and think about eating food or having food but also honor food as our life source. eat it at a proper place where there is no violence, fights, arguments, or negative atmosphere.

Making food also has some art. Food is love and making food with love, in a healthy happy atmosphere is different from just making food. Adding the flavor of love to the food gets positive vibrant energy. So for health matters, the cook is also responsible how to make food to produce good energy

and remember occasional fasting is also good for health.
