Para responder la QOTW de esta semana voy a iniciar relatando una experiencia que se relaciona al motivo por el cual me encantaría los espacio de mi ciudad estuvieran impregnado de arte - vida.
To answer this week's QOTW I will begin by relating an experience that relates to why I would love the spaces in my city to be impregnated with art . life.
Yo tengo como habito hacer mis diligencias e ir al trabajo caminado Gracias a Dios me queda relativamente cerca, me acostumbre desde hace mucho tiempo, por la situación de transporte en la capital de mi país Venezuela que cada día es un caos, siento mucha incomodidad ante el colapso de las servicios de transporte terrestre y subterráneo los cuales uso solo cuando tengo que dirigirme a mayor distancias o cuando se me hace muy tarde para llegar a casa.
I have as a habit to do my errands and go to work walking, thank God it is relatively close, I got used to it a long time ago, because of the transportation situation in the capital of my country Venezuela that every day is a chaos, I feel very uncomfortable with the collapse of ground and subway transportation services which I use only when I have to go to longer distances or when I am very late to get home.
En esos caminares un día saliendo de mis clases de danzas eran aproximadamente 6:30 de la tarde, mis compañeros me convidaron a irnos caminando por el cascos históricos del centro de la ciudad, por esta zona hace muchos años no se podía transitar por la inseguridad, indigencia y la falta de alumbrado, obligando a los dueños de negocios cerrar a tempranas horas quedando desolado bulevares, calles y plazas muy hermosas pero en total deterioro, también la economía informal se apropió de una buena partes de esos lugares causando muy mal aspecto para los transeúntes.
In those walks one day leaving my dance classes were about 6:30 in the afternoon, my classmates invited me to go walking through the historic center of the city, this area many years ago could not pass through the insecurity, destitution and lack of lighting, forcing business owners to close early in the morning leaving desolate boulevards, streets and squares very beautiful but in total deterioration, also the informal economy took over a good part of these places causing very bad appearance for passersby.
Al parecer había sucedido un cambio del que yo no me había percatado ya que no pasaba por allí desde hace un buen tiempo… resulta que el gobierno de turno en su bueno momento se aboco a reestructurar esos espacios históricos y apoyar a los comercios cercanos creándose todo un ambiente agradable para quienes transitaran durante el día y parte de la noche por aquellos lugares. Y de esto me di cuenta cuando confiada y fascinada con mis compañeros caminé por allí.
Apparently there had been a change that I had not noticed since I had not been there for a long time... it turns out that the government of the time in its good time was focused on restructuring those historic spaces and supporting the nearby businesses creating a pleasant environment for those who pass by during the day and part of the night in those places. And this is what I realized when I walked around with my companions, confident and fascinated.

Desde entonces mi andar por esos espacios lo siento agradable y seguro percibo como si entrara a una mágico dimensión admirando mi Caracas bonita y sus espacios que empezaron revivir.
Since then, my walk through these spaces feels pleasant and safe, I feel as if I were entering a magical dimension admiring my beautiful Caracas and its spaces that began to come alive.

Lo que hace agradable estos espacios públicos es que son al aire libre, hay negocio con músicas y ventas de comida para todos los gustos, iluminación, decoración y si hay efemérides cercanas esto es lo que reviste el ambiente, teatros abiertos con costos accesibles, micro – concierto de calle, cafés de tertulias diurnas y nocturnas que se impregnan de música poesía, teatro y danza, hay niños y adultos en las plazas jugando y bailando, y para sentir más seguridad hay vigilancia policial resguardando la zona, es un espacio donde se olvidan las adversidades que permite una sana recreación donde he sido participe en diversas actividades culturales llevando danza y percusión afrovenezolana a los transeúntes con ganas de distracción.

Desearía se expandiera esta maravillosa propuesta por todos las capitales de cada cuidad, y digo todas las ciudades porque las urbes están mucho más alienadas de estrés diario que afectan la psiquis humana, y este tipo de iniciativas cae muy bien para equilibrar el día a día. Me encantaría que todos los días y durante todo el año haya motivos para que las personas culminen su jornada en armonía bajo un ambiente que les permita tener un tranquilo y saludable esparcimiento.
I would like to expand this wonderful proposal to all the capitals of each city, and I say all the cities because the cities are much more alienated from daily stress that affect the human psyche, and this type of initiative falls very well to balance the day to day. I would love that every day and throughout the year there are reasons for people to end their day in harmony under an environment that allows them to have a quiet and healthy relaxation.

Mucho antes de la pandemia fuimos invitados para mostrar nuestro trabajo sobre la percusión afrovenezolana he hicimos homenaje a la naturaleza y ancestros, de este modo desde lo aprendido he aportado arte para el sano esparcimiento de otros.
Long before the pandemic we were invited to show our work on Afro-Venezuelan percussion and we paid homage to nature and ancestors, in this way from what I have learned I have contributed art for the healthy recreation of others.

Unos de mis deseos es que se integraran a estas muestras conciertos de grandes orquestas con música acústica u orgánica al aire libre donde se instruya al público sobre sus beneficios y también que hubiera aula abierta para la noción básica en la ejecución de algún instrumento y danzas; que hubieran cines y teatro de calle bien organizados presentados en plazas y parques abiertos con ciertas normas que permita mantener a las personas en cumplimiento de la seguridad y cuidado de los espacios.
One of my wishes is that concerts of large orchestras with acoustic or organic music in the open air where the public is instructed about its benefits and also that there would be open classroom for the basic notion in the execution of an instrument and dances; that there would be well organized cinemas and street theater presented in squares and open parks with certain rules that allow keeping people in compliance with the safety and care of the spaces.

El arte es un recurso para libre expresión y posee múltiples beneficios para la vida, me encantaría pudieran todas las calles, bulevares, plazas y parques se realizaran más a menudo estas actividades. En tiempo de flexibilidad de la pandemia en Caracas se han ido integrando progresivamente algunas actividades, cumpliéndose las normas de bioseguridad, en lo personal inicie mis ensayos en conjunto con mis compañeros de danza y percusión dispuestos a llevar más alegría y entretenimiento a todas esas personas que por alguna razón visitan estos lugares que son tan imprescindibles para la salud mental de todo ser vivo.
Art is a resource for free expression and has multiple benefits for life, I would love it if all the streets, boulevards, squares and parks could be used more often for these activities. In time of flexibility of the pandemic in Caracas have been progressively integrating some activities, complying with biosafety standards, personally I started my rehearsals together with my colleagues of dance and percussion willing to bring more joy and entertainment to all those people who for some reason visit these places that are so essential for the mental health of every living being.
