It was good to see posts from all around the world and so many important and worthy causes that you have all shared. Clearly the environment is top of the list, with so many of you posting about the various problems relating to pollution, trash, water problems and air pollution. It is clear that we have a lot to fix and change, and fortunately there are many people in the world to take care of it. Perhaps you have been on a litter clean up, or help to improve an area before. That feeling of satisfaction is like nothing else!

No evil lasts a hundred years/No hay mal que dure cien años -

To speak of actions that I would like to be put into practice in my local community is to lose myself in a labyrinth of unrealizable dreams due to the utopia of removing metastatic cancer with no other help than that provided by the infested organism, which is too much to ask for since the malignant cells have become resistant to any action that is promoted in favor of bringing about changes that will benefit the health of this body that is my country: Venezuela, undermined by a perverse ideology expert in brainwashing and manipulation of reality.

With everything and shoes

It is sad to feel tied down. It is sad to see no light at the end of the tunnel. It is sad to contemplate how day by day the poisonous poison sticks deeper into each one of the people who continue to believe that despite all the evils we suffer, there is nothing to look for outside the ranks of the governing party because they handle them like sheep for handouts that are increasingly attractive to them, They capture the loyalty of the new citizens, those born and raised in this hegemony, those who know nothing else but this miserable way of life where corruption, falsehood, accommodation and a chameleon-like disregard for the future prevail: They worry from the mouth out, accommodating themselves to the stupid vivacity of believing that this way we are fine. Conformism has swallowed us with everything and shoes.

Compassion is an action that sometimes weighs heavy but leaves great rewards.

What actions do you think are needed in your local area? This question made me remember something that happened to me years ago with a stranger that I will never forget. I was sitting on a bus going to a very popular shopping center in my local area, at one point I started to observe a man who was in front of me at the first stall, he was dressed in a particular way he had a scout hat those that are tied to the sides of the head in that fashionable time and two bags hanging on his body one was a bottle of water. When I arrived at the bus stop I saw that he was getting up with difficulty, helping himself with a cane, people made way for him to get off.

It was evident that he had suffered a stroke, although I am not an expert I came to this conclusion because of the motor difficulty he had, half of his body was paralyzed, and with the other half he struggled to keep his balance and stand. When I came down I looked around for the person who was with him, but he was alone. To get into the shopping center we had to cross a two-way avenue and it was obvious that the traffic light would change before he finished passing, so I crossed beside him slowly to warn the cars that they should wait. At the entrance of the shopping center, there was a staircase and a ramp for wheelchairs and people with disabilities.

In my town there are some problems that affect us as a community and deserve to be addressed, for example the problem of garbage, the urban cleaning does not happen on time and downspouts or garbage deposits pile up and create pollution, it is already a general problem, the community is out of our hands, to solve the problem of garbage. Inadequate waste management and solid waste cause serious environmental problems to the land, which are harmful and cause diseases, kill wildlife, water pollution, soil contamination, among others. It is important to recycle those objects that we have at home and create some useful object, so we are saving the environment.

Another problem is the burning of garbage in adjacent areas and in the community itself, and there are no competent agencies to put a stop to this. They constantly burn garbage and the odors and smoke invade the urbanization. People have no conscience when doing this type of thing, they think it is the best way out, with this attitude they are damaging the population, contaminating it and destroying Mother Earth. On several occasions we have called the firemen to put out the fire, they have been burning for a long time and we have made war on them so that they become aware and together we can find a solution to the problem because it belongs to all of us.

There is a wide range of phrases that describe and value the importance of children as the makers of the future of humanity, which is not untrue, however, it is not in that future that man is formed but in the present of the child.

There are millions of children in the world and each community has its "good ration" so I always ask myself: As adults, how much do we do to integrate them into community participation? What opportunities do we give them to become aware of the social issues around them? Or how much do we contribute, as individuals and as a community, to their integral formation?

And when I speak of integral formation I include: games, sports, reading, theater, painting, music, creative writing and any other non-school activity and that surely within the same community there are human resources that can channel the inclinations and interests of children.

Okay before I proceed I would to reintroduce myself once again for proper understanding. I hope it's okay and cool by everyone reading this. My name is Segun Joshua, I'm from Lagos, Nigeria. I would like to discuss and talk about my local area, IKORODU LGA (east). Now IKORODU is a rural area that is still under development as we speak. And it's also a place where you can get landed property easily and with a cheaper rate.

But, getting land there wasn't easy few years back. Getting landed property at IKORODU comes with a great life risk and danger because a person's life is surely at stake, funny and weird right ? Yeah! . So it went like that for decades, killing and ending many lives just to get a landed property there yeah it's that bloody trust me. Similar incident almost happened to my folks and i, getting a land, building our house on it, securing and protecting it at all cost really costs us some huge amount of money because at every stage of the construction of the house we get to pay some huge amount of money for the development to the hoodlums around the area, but we were aware of the value it would emerge as in the future that we now lived in just like investing in cryptocurrency and leaving it to grow in the nearest future or for future purposes.
