i've seen many posts regarding the #massmurderinggovernments manufactured fertiliser shortages in their attempts to create #foodshortages to reduce the population.
In some ways the #fertilisershortage is a good thing, as the ammonium nitrate fertilisers are harmful to the #plants and thus to humans, depleting land and plants of essential minerals such as borax and magnesium, and causing much chronic disease in peeps who buy and consume such veggies from (mostly) supermarkets.
Hopefully more people will become aware of healthier and natural fertilisers which are basically free and produce better food with bigger yields.
Here is a barrel of stinging nettle #fertiliser (made by @kalafior1) which is.currently fermenting at my place (#Atmanna) in #Bulgaria.
Basically you just fill a barrel or bucket with nettles, (and a few oak leaves to help reduce the smell), add water to cover, cover with (ideally something black to attract heat), then stir every day until it stops bubbling. This takes about 2 weeks depending upon the ambient temperature.
Then, strain and bottle the liquid fertiliser and add the leftover pulp to the #compost pile.
When you are ready to use it, dilute 1 part fertiliser to 10 parts water (or 20 parts water if adding to seedlings) then add a little to the base of each plant every two weeks or so (or alternate with aged urine). Dilution rates for urine are the same.
Both #urinefertiliser and #nettlefertiliser also work as an insecticide, so spray on the foilage (diluted 20 to 1) and it will feed the plants via the leaves as well as keeping bugs away.
