Once again I am here with new post, new day and new determination. Hope you are all well and life is going well. I am also fine and have come up with new food competition. ecoTrain has brought a "LEFTOVERS" competition to the community in which we have to be part of that competition۔ we have to create a picture of what is left over from food.

CHICKEN QORMA AND EGGPLANT

Made a lot of great food at the beginning of the new year and started the new year 2022 with joy and happiness but I did forget to make a picture to show "LEFTOVERS". However, in today's history we have made two delicious foods which have also shown "LEFTOVERS". The two dishes I made were called chicken Qorma and delicious Eggplant. I made pictures of these foods and also showed "LEFTOVERS".

Chicken Qorma is one of the delicious foods of Pakistan. This dish is very tasty. First of all, I will tell you what ingredients are needed to make this delicious food.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients needed are chicken, tomatoes, onions, garlic, lemons, green peppers, salt and korma spices which can be easily found at the vegetable shop.

METHOD TO MAKE

To make it, first the meat is washed thoroughly and the water is left to dry. After putting ghee in a big pot, fry the meat well till the color turns brown. When the color turns brown, take out the meat and put it in another pot. In another pot, cut the tomatoes into small pieces and cook in hot oil until it becomes a paste. Mix the chopped garlic, lemon, green pepper and salt well in this paste. After mixing well, add the chicken meat to the tomato paste, add Qorma spices and put it on low heat until it is mixed well and good smell comes out. Chicken Qorma has also benefits which is,

  • Good to boost the immune system of the body.
  • This food is full of protein and calcium which strengthens the bones.
  • Due to high protein in chicken it sustains the muscles of the body.

I will tell the ingredients of eggplant and its cooking method. Eggplant is a good and light food that is easy to cook as well. There are two types of eggplant, one round and the other long, but we often cook long eggplant because it is sweet in taste. Ingredients needed to make this dish are cumin, green pepper, ginger, eggplant, oil, salt, pepper and yogurt.

METHOD TO MAKE

This dish is very easy to make. First we peel the eggplant and cut it into small pieces. We will fry it in hot oil till it becomes soft. In another pot we will mix tomato paste and all other ingredients. When the tomato paste is ready, put it in the eggplant pot and cook on low heat. Our delicious and tasty food is ready.   • It is rich in many nutrients which fulfils the requirement of the body.
  • This food is good to reduce the risk of heart disease and keeps the heart active.
  • It controls the blood sugar level of the body.

These two delicious foods that I made and are also the entry of this food competition. Some remaining of the foods which are left for our tomorrow is packed and captured as "LEFTOVERS".
