Introspection Engine (Snowden’s Mobile Security Solution) and Precursor: Open Hardware, RISC-V System-on-Chip (SoC) Development Kit

I was always good at thinking of "What If?" scenarios. Reading science fiction and conspiracy/thriller stories and being into movies and video games exploring similar themes didn't help either. I used to imagine all sorts of things that could be done under the user interfaces with the technology we have no access to.

Some of the things I imagined were way too implausible as I have come to realize. But much of it is still relevant today. If you cannot absolutely verify something, you cannot be blamed for not trusting any piece of technology, specially when you don't have access to the hardware. (Notcie that I said hardware).

It is Wise To Follow Naomi Brockwell

She is the reason I got into the rabbit hole of looking into Precursor and Introspection Engine. Both are tools that can help you verify that your devices are turned off when they are off and not doing anything you don't want them doing while they are turned on. If you don't have time for long form presentations and deep dives, at least watch the following video:

This interview has been around since November 2020 and has not even reached 2000 views. People are not paying the deserved attention towards this project.

Even A Small Support Helps

Most of you are not hardware engineers or even programmers. What most readers here are happens to be is intelligent and more free thinking than the general population. You can decide to donate for these projects or at least spread the word about them. You will also be helping your friends and loved ones by sharing these information which many entities don't even want you to know about.
