After a year of fighting, Western officials put the number of dead and wounded Ukrainian soldiers at about 100,000, nearly twice the number of U.S. casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Russians don't have a similar phenomenon, what gives?
No mass graves for Russia, no unidentified graves, no numerous families crying over missing, in fact, by western sources the Russians are at around 15k, which is in line with the reported Russian MoD casualty figures, here's the BBC:
The western claims of 100k Ukrainians is very low, compared to other sources like the MOSSAD.
Some people who have been fighting on the front claim twice the 147k figures, and Colonel McGregor says 400k as well as Scott Ritter, and it makes sense as there was a leak in June of the Ukrainian MoD report on casualties and it was almost 100k (I believe 98k) reported dead.
