Consequently, partial and final products and derivatives of industrial development have also increased, the causes are, for the most part, pollutants of the environment, such as gases that are released into the atmosphere.

Air pollution in some cities of the world (those with the highest industrial development) has given the air a practically toxic characteristic, which can cause respiratory diseases, allegories, and even induce lung cancer.

Generally we can choose the water or the food we consume, but we cannot choose the air we breathe, or its quality. Thus, since the air is a resource for free and collective use, we can all use it, but we also contaminate it with our daily activities, which range from traveling in a vehicle from one place to another, to wasting paper or using aerosols.

Therefore, we must all develop actions to keep the air clean and pure, for the health and quality of life of the living beings on the planet and its future generations.

For eloo, the United Nations Organization, in 1992, declared the third Thursday of each November as World Clean Air Day, to promote actions that encourage people to avoid air pollution, given the importance of this resource for life on the planet.
