Recursos y estrategias para trabajar la lectura y escritura con los niños.

Hola amigos de Hive, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia muy gratificante que vivi en estos últimos meses. Como les he comentado, me gusta aprender cosas nuevas y por esa razón acepte la responsabilidad de ser docente de aula, aun cuando no me preparé académicamente en este ramo. Ahora con la llegada del COVID 19 y la implementación de la cuarentena radical se abrió un mundo de posibilidades para prepararte desde casa, ese es mi caso, ya que por medio de una compañera de la escuela que me envió la invitación para participar en un taller llamado Programa El Placer de Leer con Fundación Empresas Polar empezó mi aventura de estudiar por medio de un grupo de WhatsApp.

Hello friends of Hive, today I want to share with you a very gratifying experience that I had in recent months. As I have mentioned, I like to learn new things and for that reason I accepted the responsibility of being a classroom teacher, even though I did not prepare myself academically in this field. Now with the arrival of COVID 19 and the implementation of the radical quarantine, a world of possibilities opened up to prepare yourself from home, that is my case since through a schoolmate who sent me the invitation to participate in a workshop called The Pleasure of Reading with Fundación Empresas Polar began my adventure of studying through a WhatsApp group.

Al principio no sabia que esperar y me sentía asustada, pero poco a poco esto fue pasando y empece a disfrutar cada sesión todos los martes y jueves de 3:00 pm a 6:00 pm durante 2 meses. En este taller aprendí muchas estrategias y recursos que se pueden utilizar en el aula de clase y así incentivar al estudiante a leer y escribir sin necesitad que sea una obligación o un castigo. Cada sesión era divertida, llena de adrenalina y entusiasmo ya que las actividades se debían realizar en el momento y enviar por foto, entonces había que correr. Súper divertido.

At first I did not know what to expect and I felt scared, but little by little this happened and I began to enjoy each session every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm for 2 months. In this workshop I learned many strategies and resources that can be used in the classroom and thus encourage the student to read and write without the need for it to be an obligation or a punishment. Each session was fun, full of adrenaline and enthusiasm since the activities had to be done at the moment and send by photo then you had to run. Super fun.

Marcalibro

Realizar un lindo marcalibro como una actividad de manualidades dentro del aula de clases con hojas, colores y pega blanca se desarrolla la creatividad del estudiantes al mismo tiempo que se incentiva el deseo de tener un libro donde poder usar su nueva creación.

Book Mark

Making a nice bookmark as a craft activity in the classroom with sheets, colors and white paste, develops the creativity of the students at the same time that the desire to have a book where they can use their new creation is encouraged.

Pasaporte a la lectura.

Esta estrategia de elaborar un pequeño cuaderno con hojas blancas, colores, pega o silicon frio y material de reciclaje como cartón o papel de colores tiene como finalidad que los estudiantes escriban sus impresiones o comentarios sobre un texto leído en clase o de cualquier libro que estén leyendo individualmente.

Passport to reading.

This strategy of making a small notebook with white sheets, colors, glue or cold silicone and recycling material such as cardboard or colored paper is intended for students to write their impressions or comments about a text read in class or any other book they are reading individually.

Varita mágica.

Con esta varita se pueden realizar varias actividades una de ella es realizar un circulo con los estudiantes y decir una adivinanza, chiste, trabalenguas o refrán y se va pasando la varita mágica, el estudiante que tenga la varita en la mano es libre de decidir con cual juego de palabra se siente mas cómodo y desea expresar. Con esta actividad se desarrolla la oralidad y confianza del estudiante.

Magic wand.

With this wand, several activities can be carried out, one of which is to make a circle with the students and say a riddle, joke, tongue twister or proverb and the magic wand is passed, the student who has the wand in his hand is free to decide with which word game you feel more comfortable and want to express. With this activity the orality and confidence of the student is developed.

Autoretrato.

Realizar un autoretrato con material de reciclaje dejando la parte del cuerpo mas ancha de manera que puedan escribir en ella sus cualidades físicas así como sus valores y virtudes con esta actividad además de practicar la escritura se fomenta el autoconcepto.

Self Portrait.

Se busca.

En esta actividad se pide a los estudiantes que escojan su villano favorito de comiquita o película, luego se les solicita que elaboren un cartel de SE BUSCA donde describan a su personaje, por que se busca y ofrezcan una recompensa por la captura, este cartel debe llevar el retrato del villano para su mejor reconocimiento.

Wanted.

In this activity, students are asked to choose their favorite comic or movie villain, then they are asked to make a WANTED poster where they describe their character, why they are looking for and offer a reward for the capture, this poster must Bring the portrait of the villain for better recognition.

Tarjetas para escribir historias.

Se reparten estas tarjetas a los estudiantes y se pide que escojan un protagonista, un ambiente y un villano, después se pide que escriban un cuento o fabula con dibujo, utilizando las tarjetas que escogieron. Con esta actividad se desarrolla la imaginación y creatividad así como también se pueden trabajar los aspectos formales de la escritura.

Cards to write stories.

These cards are distributed to the students and they are asked to choose a protagonist, an environment and a villain, then they are asked to write a story or fable with a drawing, using the cards they chose. With this activity imagination and creativity are developed as well as the formal aspects of writing can be worked on.

Un final diferente.

Esta estrategia consiste en que el docente realice una lectura en voz alta y se detenga casi al final del texto, en una parte donde el estudiante no pueda sospechar en que va a terminar, como paso siguiente, se pide que escriban lo que se les venga a la mente de como va a terminar el cuento y deben hacer un dibujo donde se refleje el final imaginado.

A different ending.

This strategy consists of the teacher reading aloud and stopping almost at the end of the text, in a part where the student cannot suspect that it will end, as a next step, they are asked to write what comes to them to the mind of how the story is going to end and they should draw a picture where the imagined ending is reflected.

Frases para comenzar un cuento.

Con estas frases lo que se pretende es cambiar las oraciones con las que siempre comenzamos al leer un cuento que vendrían siendo, había una vez o hace mucho tiempo, por otras con más originalidad y chispa.

Kamishibai.

Su nombre significa “drama de papel” es un recurso que se utiliza para contar historias a través de laminas que tiene dibujos por un lado y en la parte trasera tienen el texto, estas imagines se van pasando mientras se lee el cuento.

Este recurso se utiliza como un regalo para los niños, dentro de la caja se esconde un libro divertido que el docente a escogido para leer en clase, deja la caja en el centro del salón para despertar la curiosidad de sus estudiantes hasta que ellos den todas las opciones de lo que creen que hay en la caja y luego el maestro saca el libro y lo lee para todos.

Surprise box.

This resource is used as a gift for children, inside the box is a funny book that the teacher has chosen to read in class, leaves the box in the center of the room to arouse the curiosity of her students until they give all the choices of what they think is in the box and then the teacher takes out the book and reads it for everyone.

Para lograr incentivar al estudiante a la lectura es importante que al docente le guste y disfrute leer ya que de no ser así se va a notar su incomodidad al momento de leer, también es importante expresar emociones, tener buen tono de voz, prestar atención a los signos de puntuación, tener confianza para leer en público, demostrar alegría y amor por lo que se esta haciendo.

In order to encourage the student to read, it is important that the teacher likes and enjoys reading, since otherwise they will notice their discomfort when reading, it is also important to express emotions, have a good tone of voice, pay attention to punctuation marks, be confident to read in public, show joy and love for what you are doing.

Para finalizar mi historia les cuento que estoy encantada con esta metodología de trabajo tanto que me inscribí en uno de cocina que después les contare y en este momento me encuentro realizando dos programas más, relacionados con nuevas estrategias para desempeñar la docencia y lograr en los estudiantes un aprendizaje significativo.

To end my story, I will tell you that I am delighted with this work methodology so much that I enrolled in a kitchen one that I will tell you later and at this moment I am doing two more programs, related to new strategies to teach and achieve in students meaningful learning.
