Hace 7 Años Monstruos llegaron a destruir el mundo, obligando a lo que quedaba de la humanidad a refugiarse bajo tierra y así mantenerse con vida; El Joven Joel vive junto a otros refugiados en un búnker en el subsuelo, Joel lleva mucho tiempo intentando contactarse con su novia la cual perdió 7 años atrás y después de tanto intentarlo logra que la radio funcione y logra un contacto con ella por lo que él decide arriesgar a subir a la superficie y viajar 150k para reencontrarse con ella, pero los Monstruos más hambrientos que nunca estarán al acecho esperando el momento de atacar.

Las películas que muestran un mundo destruido ya sea por zombies, aliens o en este caso monstruos siempre han sido de mis favoritas, me gusta mucho la ambientación que tienen de una ciudad abandonada y destruida por seres que intentan destrozar lo que queda de la humanidad, la mayoría de estas pelis tienen una acción muy buena y una tensión constante que te deja con una buena sensación al terminarla, es el tipo de película con el cual no te puedes encariñar con algún personaje porque fijo terminara muerto.
The movies that show a world destroyed either by zombies, aliens or in this case monsters have always been my favorite, I really like the atmosphere they have of a city abandoned and destroyed by beings trying to destroy what is left of humanity, most of these movies have a very good action and a constant tension that leaves you with a good feeling at the end, is the kind of movie with which you can not get attached to a character because fixed end up dead.

Amor y Monstruos es una película a la cual no le tenía mucha fe, sentía que podría ser muy exagerada y muy aburrida a pesar de tener una trama que me gusta; Sin embargo, fue una peli que vi en el momento en el que fue estrenada y básicamente fue debido a que entre su reparto estaban 2 actores que he visto muchas veces en acción y me gusta mucho la manera en la que actúan, sinceramente la película termino gustándome más de lo que tenía pensado y decidí verla una vez más recientemente y confirmo que sigue gustándome.
Love and Monsters is a movie that I didn't have much faith in, I felt that it could be very exaggerated and very boring despite having a plot that I like; However, it was a movie that I saw at the time it was released and basically it was because among its cast were 2 actors that I have seen many times in action and I really like the way they act, honestly I ended up liking the movie more than I had thought and I decided to see it once again recently and I confirm that I still like it.

La trama es interesante y según mi punto de vista es bastante original, algunos escenarios específicamente en la ambientación me recordaba fugazmente al juego The last of us y eso fue algo que me gusto mucho, siento que en algunos momentos el ritmo de la trama era inestable y era una montaña rusa de intensidad y es algo que para mí no es molesto, ya que no llego al punto de resultar aburrido, la historia está bien estructurada y aunque me falto algo que la hiciera explotar, siento que no estuvo tan mal.
The plot is interesting and according to my point of view is quite original, some scenarios specifically in the setting reminded me fleetingly to the game The last of us and that was something that I liked a lot, I feel that at times the pace of the plot was unstable and was a roller coaster of intensity and it is something that for me is not annoying, because it did not reach the point of being boring, the story is well structured and although I missed something that would make it explode, I feel it was not so bad.

Los personajes estuvieron bien, pero no fue lo que más destaco de la película, si bien disfrute ver a Dylan O’Brien junto a Michael Rooker, siento que este punto no fue de mis favoritos. Cada uno de los actores y actrices presente en esta película realizaron una buena actuación llevando a sus personajes a un punto donde se disfrutaba, pero como mencione anteriormente, siento que ninguno de ellos destaco realmente y les falto algo que los hiciera brillar tanto en conjunto como individualmente, se sintió la química que tienen todos y se nota el buen trabajo que realizan.
The characters were okay, but it wasn't the highlight of the movie, while I enjoyed seeing Dylan O'Brien alongside Michael Rooker, I feel this was not one of my favorites. Each of the actors and actresses present in this movie gave a good performance bringing their characters to a point where it was enjoyable, but as I mentioned before, I feel that none of them really stood out and they lacked something that made them shine both together and individually, you could feel the chemistry they all have and you can see the good work they do.
