The long-awaited day has finally arrived for all of us who are Marvel fans 😍, and of course I mean the premiere day of the Loki series, and then I am going to leave you my review on this first chapter. Let's get started!

The chapter begins precisely in the part of EndGame in which the god of lies escapes (if you don't know what I'm talking about because you haven't seen EndGame yet… In what kind of cave isolated from all forms of civilization have you been living? 😒), and one of the big questions that the film left us is solved: where did Loki end up?

We are shown (doing what I think is a reference to Iron Man 1 🙄) that it ended up in the Gobi desert, in Mongolia.

And it is at this point where we are officially introduced to the TVA (Time Variation Authority for Latino cuates), which in the MCU is in charge of monitoring the correct temporal flow (it reminded me of the 2003 Cartoon Network series “Time Squad”).

And after a quite comical sequence of scenes (something typical already in the MCU), the character played by Owen Wilson, Mobius, appears.

It is from here that the series becomes somewhat philosophical, as it begins to deal with the issues of predestination or free will, Loki being a defender of this position while the TVA explains (or implies) that reality is On the side of predestination (personally I don't like this idea, but hey, I guess I'll have to disconnect my brain a bit to fully enjoy the series🤷‍♂).

After the philosophical dissertation Loki escapes, something that anyone could have foreseen except Mobius 🤡 xD which makes me curious because he has tons of information about the god (and this makes me think that the scene is a bit forced to give continuity to the chapter), and it is thanks to this escape that we discovered (and I hope you are sitting down because if you are not going to fall from *ss😵) that the infinity stones that we saw during the first three phases of the MCU are not the only ones infinity stones that exist...

This of course raises a whole series of questions (beyond the multiverse that was made official earlier in the chapter😱) and opens the door to a whole series of theories (as if the existing ones were not enough🙄), that is, Marvel continues Playing with us as they give them their great desire 🤡... That or they have forgotten that there is a long list of questions that they have not answered (at this point in the MCU and I just let myself go with the flow🤷‍♂).

Something that made me quite curious was that the infinity gems do not work in the world/universe of the TVA, I hope they will explain it later (although very surely that does not happen🤡).

The chapter closes with Loki doing the typical and hackneyed self-improvement of the hero and leaving us with a kind of cliffhanger in which it is said that the villain of the series is Loki himself (although I imagine that from another timeline).

In general, is quite good, full of comedy and with some reference to pop culture (as in the case of D. B. Cooper 🤓) and excellent to start the series.

The performances were excellent for me, becoming very easy to empathize with the characters; And the plot is very dynamic, it is incredible how quickly time passes watching the series (funny that I say that about a series that revolves around the time flow 🤣), when the chapter ended, I thought that only 20 minutes had passed.

The only flaw I found was a mounting error between scenes that caused the tesseract to disappear from one scene to another.

¡Haaaasta luego!

That, let's see, it is understood that Loki has the ability to hide things, but Marvel... Either you teach me the werito hiding the tesseract or you take better care of the visual effects and the montage, because if this is going to be a common denominator throughout From the series... Beware!😤

As I said, in general the chapter is quite good, I highly recommend it (especially if you are a fan of the MCU). Personally, I give it a grade of 8 out of 10, because the mounting error bothered me a lot (I don't usually notice those errors, so if I noticed it, it was because it was very evident😡), and well...

Without further ado, I say goodbye, I hope this review helps you enjoy this first episode and if you liked it, let me know with the action that generates the least expense... I guess 🤣, and see you next time.

Seeeeeeee you later!
