Jagga Jasoos: A Stutter Genius Detective

I found this film when I accidentally searched for another film. I who really like Ranbir didn't think twice to watch it soon. You know, this previous film wasn't on Netflix's list of films that Ranbir Kapoor or Katrina Kaif played, so when I stumbled across it, I immediately watched it.

** Detective Jagga**

Jagga (Ranbir Kapoor) is a boy who doesn't want to talk. He didn't want to talk because every time he spoke he would stutter. One day he finds a middle-aged man who has fainted in a field. His leg is broken, and Jagga takes him to the orphanage where he is being treated. The man introduced himself as Tutifuti, broken foot. Tutifuti teaches Jagga to speak but to the rhythm of the music. Since then Jagga was able to speak even though he had to sing. One day, Tutifuti sent Jagga to a boys' home or school. That's where he grew up. In that school, Jagga becomes a brave boy, who solves several murder cases in his school. Jagga's first case at school was when a teacher named Miss Mala was found to have committed suicide. Only Jagga sees it not as suicide but as murder. He collected a lot of information about miss Mala. He also found Miss Malla's killer. But there was one thing he never understood, namely why Tutifuti left him, without even telling him his real name. Tutifuti is absent from giving a happy birthday video on his birthday, which makes Jagga curious. Moreover, a policeman chased him and told him that Tutifuti was gone. Jagga finds out about the police's lies and chooses to search for Tutifuti alone. He then teams up with Shruti, a journalist who is investigating a case. The two of them then flew to Cape Town, South Africa to find traces of Tutifuti. In their search, they are always followed by danger. However, due to Jagga's cunning, they continue to escape.

Unique Film

This film is very unique. How could it not be, throughout the duration of the film, the dialogue is delivered in rhyme, like a song. Yup, that's because Jagga is a stutterer and wouldn't be able to speak if he didn't make his speech into a chant. This film is like a silent film. I love the neat plot of this movie. It doesn't feel like any scene was wasted. Apart from that, this movie is very funny. There are several scenes that make me laugh, that's when Shruti Sengupta does something ridiculous. Apart from Jagga, Shruti's character is no less funny. Unlike Katrina's previous roles, in this film she has a character full of bad luck, like Tutifuti. Even though Shruti denies that fact, in fact she often experiences bad luck. For me this film is so slick and recognized by the fans that this film is very good. But unfortunately, commercially this film was not successful. Jagga's meeting with Tutifuti again becomes a very moving part. Before the sacred meeting, the film scene was made funny, so that I burst into tears of laughter.

You can watch this film on Netflix!
