After watching some episodes of friends yesterday I have this to say
Ross is the best character in Friends. Great all as a whole but no one beats Ross.
- After breaking up with Rachel and having a chance to be on TV something he was excited about he stayed with Rachel he helped her get dressed and eventually took her to the hospital thus missing a great opportunity to promote his TV career
- Once he heard that Phoebe never had a bike as a child he was the only one who showed compassion and bought her a bike.
- He chose to break up his marriage to Emily so he wouldn't lose Rachel as a friend.
- Even though he said "I'm fine", he never was. But he did everything to accept Joey and Rachel's relationship.
- While he always wanted to win in the first season he purposely lost at poker to see Rachel smile after he didn't get a job.
- He wanted to do everything to get Rachel to stay and not go to Paris by trying to convince (several times) her boss but once he found out how much she really wanted to go he backed off and let her go while he was clearly still in love with her
- He was an extremely good father to Ben despite not having him all the time.
đ He accompanied Carol to her wedding with Susan while this relationship was the reason his marriage broke up. - He knew Rachel didn't want him with them on the ski trip they went on and while she went and helped them with their car trouble she told them to go and he turned back.
- Endured and didn't kill anyone in the episode "The one where no one's ready"
Extra : he is by far the most funny in the whole series
