Swarm: Running Scared - Episode 4 - Personal Thoughts

On my previous post I mention Dre already tasted blood, you cant fool with around with a wild animal once they got blood on their mouth and that's exactly what happens on this episode. Dre cant be manipulated and her addiction for Ni'Jah is over everything and everyone, makes me wonder if Marrissa ever talk shit about Ni'Jah, their goddess, would Dre kill her too? Thats a question we will never know the answer.
Dre get into certain awkward, makes me fast forward either because she doing something stupid, getting in such dangerous situation or is about to get caught in the act and that's exactly how this episode starts, almost getting caught by a cop to then been saved for the person she almost end up killing. Dre got to end up dead on this series, I don't there will be a second season as the amount of episodes is so short and either some one kill her or she suicide but I can see Ni'Jah security killing Dre in an event.

Las time I check episode 2 Dre was driving a Mercedes and episode 3 she took a Jeep from the guy she killed for talking shit about Ni'Jah on twitter so who the fuck did she kill that didn't show up on episode 3 with a Volvo, the rear seat is cover in blood, why that doesn't show up on previous episode. I might do some research about this series after I'm done with it since it constantly mention its based on real events, I have heard of serial killers stories that are really sick but have never heard of fanaticism going south this way.

Dre gets stop by a police man who is not buying her story of just going to the festival after he caught her lying about where she is staying but this bitch so lucky that she stops at a gas stations quick shop and a pacifist/hippie help her to get rid of him and offer her to stay with her, Dre only accept because the place is not far from the festival and Cricket the girl who got rid of the police said they were going too, free food, free place to stay, cant go wrong with that right?

Meet Eva, since the moment I saw her I thought the place was a cult, she is in the garden taking care of plants, her name is Eva like the one at the garden of Eden, then Dre gets introduce to all the other members of the house, by the way Dre use a fake name she call herself Kayla, at first Eva said she got a strong connection to people with two letters on their names specially A but I guess that's to get closer to Dre.

This is Dre now saying she is friends with Ni'Jah but they got into a rough patch and at the end of the festival she might end up hanging around with Ni'Jah after the festival and her family. Its just crazy that some people really think this way, fully deep down in such world of fantasy, sick fantasy.

The group of girls Dre is hanging now with is all about working on yourself, body, mind, spirit, cleaning and healing the hole deal, there is a leader as usual and that's Eva, she is the one that got them in line, brain wash them in a good way because it seems all she wanted was Dre to be part of them but Dre is a wild animal with fresh blood on her mouth and wants more, Dre was just too much for Eva.

Dre cell phone addiction and lies don't go with the group, Eva invites her to a council session that actually look more like she was trying to hypnotize Dre and someone got her to open freely and tells Eva the general concept of what she has done so far and why but when she gets to the Marrissa relationship she blacks out after dreaming with her. Dre tells Eva she have killed people, that she likes and enjoy killing people and how Ni'Jah is a goddess to her.

The group constantly have different group activities like hiking early in the morning, cooking together, mediating on a sauna, trying to bond and become closer. A second session happen with Eva, on first session she shock her fingers and Dre says her name until she stop saying Kayla and answer Dre, I don't know how Dre got hit on the head and kinda forgot what happen, now Eva knows about Kahlid, Merrissa, the blood on the car that Dre comes clean and tells her how she have been killing others who talk shit about Ni'Jah, it looks like Eva is really trying to help Dre, I'm not sure the motive but she is trying to control the wild animal Dre is. During one of their group therapy sessions, Dre start to listen music that nobody else could, another of the girls call her Dre and that's when she knows Eva betray her and told probably everyone what they were talking about so she ran to her car and ask Eva for her phone that she didn't gave her and wanted Dre to stay or run her over.

You guess it, the moment Dre had the opportunity ran Eva over and Cricket the girl who got rid of the police man, she open the door of the car and try to stop Dre but she got hit multiple times in the head with door of the car the moment Dre had the opportunity.

Its probably irrelevant the name of the girl, but one of them stay at the cars roof while Dre was escaping until she hit the brakes and the girl falls in front of the car, only for Dre to pick up a metal tube and hit her as many times she felt it was enough, getting cover in blood and leaving the body unrecognizable.

After killing all this innocent girls that had no idea the type of psychopath they were dealing with, Dre gets to the music festival right when it ended, I really thought she was going to kill someone there too but she didn't, just turn around and watch some videos online about Ni'Jah presentation.

There is no climax on most SWARM episodes, its crazy from start to end, how does Dre does it I still don't know and cant really think all this is possible as most humans would be already caught probably in jail for everything she have done so far. Its constantly mention all this is close to real life events, I can see someone as crazy as Dre but its hard to understand how she haven't been caught yet, but I think we are getting closer as the series ends, aside from the gore I have really enjoy all Dre craziness, I don't share her motives and reasons but the excitement of getting constantly caught keeps me watching this series, I hope that doesn't make me Dre partner in crime since I don't approve anything she have done so far. This story if its real deserve a place in a second season for Mind Hunters, another Netflix series that tells the story of the guys who basically invent the term Serial Killers along with other theories that would describe perfectly the story of Dre.
