First of all, a warm greeting to the CineTv community, today we are facing a new challenge in this contest, especially with the amount of animals that one has had to share with on the big screen and in television series.
In fact, when I saw the title of the contest I laughed a little since the first images that came to my mind were those of Rin Tin Tin and Cape Rosty, if it is true that I saw 4 of his 31 black and white films and enjoyed a good number of chapters of his series I realized that it was not the animal of the big screen that had impacted me the most.
So I had to do a mental review, and in fact I remembered many films and series, among them Flipper, Corre Jou Corre, Jaws and that wonderful character of Fújur the flying dog from The Neverending Story, which was really wonderful.
But, in recounting, the movie animal that most impacted my life and that I saw in his 12 films alongside Johnny Weissmuller, was the Mona Cheeta in the Tarzan movies, at that time when I was a in the 70's, I really enjoyed those movies, how the monkey ran and climbed on the elephants, how he messed with Jeane, Tarzan's girlfriend in the first movies.
One of the scenes I remember the most, is the scene of Mona Cheeta using a sink made with bamboo bushes by Jeane in the tree house where she lived with Tarzan, also the scene of Cheeta with Tarzan in New York, there was a scene in a tailor shop where Tarzan was trying on some dress coats and every time he put one on and closed his arms the coat would tear because of the thickness of the back and the monkey would die laughing.
And the scenes of Cheeta, helping Tarzan escape, or saving his life, or riding on his back or shoulders.
Truly, Mona Cheeta is my favorite animal, as I enjoyed every Tarzan movie with Johnny Weissmuller and his inseparable companion of adventures. That's why I chose her for this contest.

Antes que nada un cordial saludos a la comunidad de CineTv, hoy nos encontramos ante un nuevo reto en este concurso, más con la cantidad animalitos con los que uno ha tenido que compartir en la gran pantalla y en las series de televisión.
De hecho, cuando vi el título del concurso me reí un poco dado que las primeras imágenes que me vinieron a la cabeza fueron las de Rin Tin Tin y el Cabo Rosty, si es cierto que vi 4 de sus 31 películas en blanco y negro y disfrute una buena cantidad de capítulos de su serie me di cuenta de que no era el animal de la gran pantalla que más me había impactado.
Así que tuve que hacer un repaso mental, y de hecho recordé muchas películas y series, entre ellas Flipper, Corre Jou Corre, Tiburón y ese maravilloso personaje de Fújur el perro volador de La Historia sin Fin, que fue realmente maravilloso.
Pero, al hacer un recuento, el animal de películas que más impacto en mi vida y que lo vi en sus 12 películas al lado de Johnny Weissmuller, fue la Mona Cheeta en las películas de Tarzán, en esa época de cuando era un en los años 70, disfrutaba muchísimo de esas películas, de como la mona corría y se subía a los elefantes, de cómo se metía con Jeane la novia de Tarzán en las primeras películas.
Una de las escenas que más recuerdo, es la de la Mona Cheeta usando un fregadero hecho con matas de bambú por Jeane en la casa del árbol donde vivián con Tarzán, también la escena de Cheeta con Tarzán en New York, hubo una escena de una sastrería donde Tarzán se estaba probando unos sacos de vestir y cada vez que se colocaba uno y cerraba los brazos el saco se rompía por lo grueso de la espalda y la mona se moría de la risa.
Y las escenas de Cheeta, ayudando a Tarzán, a escapar, o salvándole la vida, o montada sobre su dorso o en los hombros.
De verdad, que la Mona Cheeta es mi animal preferido, ya que disfruté cada una de las películas de Tarzán con Johnny Weissmuller y su inseparable compañera de aventuras. Razón por la cual la escogí para este concurso.
