Not only is it a movie that brings us a romantic story, but it shows us how friends are our support networks when we fall in love and when someone hurts our heart. This movie when I watch it reminds me of my college days, when someone in the group would fall in love and I would bring that person to the group to introduce them and get our opinion. I remember how a friend of mine fell in love with the bad boy in college, we warned her about that guy, but love is blind and when he broke her heart, how we all went out to a bar to make her forget about the guy and we all ended up drunkenly singing rancheras of heartbreak.

Two of my favorite scenes are: when Hugh (William), takes Julia (Anna), with his friends to eat and they have a game that to get the last bite of the table they must tell an anecdote of why they deserve that dish and each one tells the saddest story that has happened to them. That particular moment I loved, it reminded me of when I was a kid and with my siblings we would fight for the last piece of cake and in my family it was for the one who finished first, so we all ate like crazy for that last piece of cake. The other scene that I loved, is when Julia (Anna), stands in front of Hugh (William), to tell him that she is just a girl standing in front of a boy, to tell him that what she wants is a boy, love her, the simplicity of that scene, but powerful at the same time is one of the most beautiful moments of the movie.
