  • The Meg (The Massive Shark) is a huge, extinct shark that is more than 75 feet long. Although it is a fearsome animal, it is entertaining to watch it wreck havoc on the sea.

What part of The Meg (2018) movie did I find most interesting?

The Meg offers a fresh perspective on the enormous shark film genre. The Meg takes a more humorous tone, in contrast to other enormous shark films, which emphasize the dread and damage that these predators can bring about. The movie doesn't take itself too seriously and is plenty of humor and action. People who want to watch a pleasant and amusing movie rather than a realistic and terrifying one will find it more pleasurable as a result.

Here are some particular instances of how The Meg deviates from the enormous shark movie stereotype:

  • The movie's main antagonist is not the shark. Instead, a gang of avaricious merchants that care more about utilizing the shark for their oil than about defending people from it serve as the main antagonists.
  • In the film, people are not helpless victims. They can defend themselves from the shark thanks to their expertise as scientists and divers.
  • The film has a pleasant conclusion. The humans are able to resume their lives after defeating the shark.

The Meg is a welcome diversion from the usual enormous shark films. It's a lighthearted, action-packed movie that enjoys itself. The Meg is an excellent option if you're seeking for a movie that will keep you entertained without frightening you too much.

The best scene from the movie The Meg (2018) in my point of view

I love the scene when the Hero Jonas Taylor played by Jason Statham has a battle with The Meg while trying to rescue the divers from the attacked submarine.
Here are some specifics about the scene:

  • In order to save a group of humans who are stranded in a submarine that has been attacked by the Megalodon, Jonas Taylor and the divers go on a rescue mission.
  • The divers are compelled to defend themselves after being attacked by the Megalodon.
  • The Megalodon is dispatched by Jonas Taylor with a harpoon gun.
  • The divers are successful in pulling the passengers from the sub.

The scene is a perfect illustration of what makes The Meg such a thrilling, action-packed movie. Suspense, thrill, and visually astounding special effects abound in it.

Conclusion

There are many movies that has water as the main part of the plot including Jaws franchise, pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Aquaman (A billion dollar movie at the Box office source BoxOfficeMojo), Avatar 2, Water World, and many other movies that I can think of the reason why I chose The Meg is simple really it has the action sequences that really are intense and keeps you hooked till the end. Having the main hero as Jason Statham is an added plus as well; that British accent is really fun to hear to and his scenes battling this monster Shark called the meg are a treat to watch. So do not waste your time and may be open your 4k player to watch The Meg (2018).
