Me quedé impresionado con la animación, la misma resulta sumamente agradable y destacable al mostrar un nivel de detalle sumamente maravilloso, a su vez tiene un equilibrio maravilloso entre una paleta de colores vivos y otra más oscura y sombría, esto dependiendo de las necesidades de la trama, esto le da un aire más épico y maduro puesto que sabe el momento en que necesita ser más seria y opaca para concordar con la narrativa.

La construcción de mundo resulta interesante, la misma amplía el universo que ya se viene trabajando pero pese a ello no se siente repetitiva ni aburrida, por el contrario mantiene ese toque fresco puesto que agrega tanto detalles como lugares nuevos qué hacen destacar el contexto. A su vez la ambientación juega mucho con las personalidades de sus personajes al adaptarse a lo que estos sienten y a sus deseos, ergo, el mundo tiene algo que contar sobre los personajes siendo que no se limita a solo ser el escenario sino que aporta algo a la narrativa.

The strongest point I see of the film is the fact that it deals with psychological and serious issues in equal parts such as: Death and fear of it, ego, reflecting on things that have been done in life, appreciating simple things, among others, it is simply a wonderful thing that a children's film addresses these issues in such a mature and natural way.
La trama me dejo bastante impresionado, no solo por el hecho de que presenta muy buena comedia y se encuentra plagada de excelente referencia, sino que está contada de buena forma siendo que incluso presenta acción y tensión sumamente excelentes pese a que el filme no se centre en estos. La narrativa sigue un muy buen curso puesto que va desarrollando de buena forma tanto a los personajes que va integrando como a los eventos que van transcurriendo, esto provoca que la misma se sienta muy completa al no dejar ninguno de los anteriores mencionados sin su respectivo foco; esta tampoco se contiene en hacer uso de muy buenos giros argumentales que son sencillamente ejecutados de forma excelente. El punto más fuerte que veo del filme es el hecho de que trate temas psicológicos y serios a partes iguales tales como: La muerte y el miedo a esta, el ego, reflexionar sobre las cosas que se han hecho en la vida, apreciar las cosas simples, entre otras, es sencillamente algo maravilloso que un filme para niños aborde estos temas de una forma tan madura y natural.

There is no distinction between main or secondary characters, both are taken into account and have their objectives which get a resolution at the end of the film; I will applaud the fact that they gave relevance to the secondary ones that are always forgotten in most films. The most remarkable thing about this section is the protagonist, it is not a surprise that this is my favorite since it is the one that not only has a characterization but also a certain degree of depth and evolution, this is because it accepts its mistakes and weaknesses facing both in order to have an advance. Let's go to the other side of the plate, the antagonist is simply excellent, it turns out to be imposing, mysterious and achieves its mission of making the protagonist reflect and even progress as a character, it is undoubtedly a crucial piece within the film, there is also a villain but this is not important or memorable, it is only there and it is funny.
Los personajes son muy maravillosos, en su mayoría tienen un foco lo suficientemente duradero como para que estos se sientan importantes, tengan una buena caracterización y se le dé un cierre a sus problemas personales. No existe una distinción entre personajes principales o secundarios, ambos son tomados en cuenta y tienen sus objetivos los cuales obtienen una resolución al final del filme; Aplaudiré el hecho de que le diesen relevancia a los secundarios que son siempre olvidados en la mayoría de cintas. Lo más destacable de este apartado es el protagonista, no es una sorpresa que este sea mi favorito puesto que es aquel que no solo tiene una caracterización sino que también cierto grado de profundidad y evolución, esto se debe a que acepta sus errores y debilidades afrontando ambos para así tener un avance. Vayamos al otro lado del plato, el antagonista es sencillamente excelente, resulta ser imponente, misterioso y logra su cometido de hacer al protagonista reflexionar e incluso progresar como personaje, es sin duda una pieza crucial dentro del filme, por ahí también está un villano pero este no es importante ni memorable, solo está ahí y es gracioso.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is a good example that both a spin-off and a sequel can have its own personality and very different successes from its predecessors, it dares to touch complex and interesting topics with enough subtlety so that children understand them and adults reflect on it; Action, comedy, suspense and tension has all the necessary elements to be great and memorable. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish es un bueno ejemplo de que tanto un spin-off como un secuela puede tener una personalidad propia y aciertos muy diferentes a sus antecesoras, se atreve a tocar temas complejos e interesantes con la suficiente sutileza para que los niños los entiendan y los adultos reflexionen sobre ello; acción, comedia, suspenso y tensión tiene todos los elementos necesarios para ser grandiosa y memorable. Por todo lo anterior mencionado es que le doy unas sólidas 5.5 estrellas de 7, sin duda una de las mejores películas animadas del 2022 y otra prueba de que DreamWords todavía puede sacar joyitas muy disfrutables.
