Hooolaaa, después de un tiempo vuelvo a publicar y desde Bogotá donde estoy visitando a mi hija y a mi yerno. Tenemos tiempo en probar ese dulce venezolano que tanto nos identifica, les dije pa luego es tarde, yo se los preparo... Así que la dulce receta de hoy es con productos colombianos y hecho por una venezolana. El dulce de lechosa lo comemos en Venezuela en cualquier época del año muy especialmente en la navideña, casi nunca falta en nuestros hogares, forma parte de nuestra dulcería criolla. Salimos a comprar los ingredientes y fue un poco difícil de conseguir lechosas verdes, el papelón o panela como le dicen aquí no es tan oscuro como el venezolano pero no le ví mayor problema.

## Compramos: 2 lechosas pequeñas. 500 gramos de azúcar. bicarbonato [1 cucharada]. 1 panela. clavos de olor [a gusto]. 2 ramas de canela. El jugo de un limón.
> We bought: 2 small milkshakes. 500 grams of sugar. baking soda [1 tablespoon]. 1 panela. cloves [to taste]. 2 cinnamon sticks. Juice of a lemon.

Lo primero que hice fue cortar las lechosas que aunque se sentían realmente verdes una de ellas estaba un poco con color naranja como si comenzara a madurar pero igual estaba muy dura, decidí seguir con mi receta haber como quedaba pués pensé debe ser algún tipo de lechosa de aquí. Como les decía, cortar las lechosas y con la ayuda de una cuchara extraer las semillas, se pelan y se cortan en tajadas no muy gruesas y no muy finas.

Se lavan, se recubren con agua y el bicarbonato se dejan remojando durante media hora luego se lavan tres veces con abundante agua, se cuelan y reservan.

En una olla coloco un litro de agua con los clavos, canela, papelón, azúcar, llevo a fuego moderado y una vez disueltos agrego las tajadas de lechosas. Es un proceso largo y de ir moviendo con sumo cuidado hasta que se ablande la lechosa y se vaya formando el caramelo.
> In a pot I put a liter of water with the cloves, cinnamon, paprika, sugar, I take to moderate heat and once dissolved I add the slices of milky milk. It is a long process of stirring very carefully until the milky leaves soften and the caramel is formed.

Agrego el jugo de limón sin semillas dejo por cinco minutos más y apago el fuego dejamos enfriar para degustar.

Se tardó dos horas en estar listo pero el resultado de ésta combinación de productos Colombianos con ésta venezolana [yooo] quedó deliciosa, complacidos los muchachos que tanto extrañaban su dulcito de lechosa.
> It took two hours to be ready but the result of this combination of Colombian products with this Venezuelan one [yooo] was delicious, pleasing the guys who missed their dulce de lechosa so much.
