As a Nigerian, I genuinely did not want to watch the movie because, whether it's a science fiction film, action movie, or one with large guns or a modern storyline, I detest movies with a lot of talking.
But after being convinced to watch the film by friends, I did, and when I was done, I had no idea.

An exceptional historical mystery action movie is Sherlock Holmes. based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional creations.

Guy Ritchie did a fantastic job directing the picture, while Michael Robert Johnson, Anthony Peckham, and Simon Kinberg did a fantastic job writing it.
The story, which was written by Lionel Wigram and Michael Robert Johnson, is superbly cryptic and compelling.

I love this Sherlock Holmes' version of stylish and darkest.

Ritchie, it should come as no surprise, brings out the brazen side of the franchise. Sherlock Holmes has the grimy, sooty appearance and feel of bygone London. However, Ritchie seems to have chosen to shoot a superhero movie rather than the significantly more adrenaline-pumping RocknRolla and Snatch that the director brings to the Sherlock Holmes mythos. The many action sequences and fast cuts are shot like Iron Man from the 1890s.
The principal parts were superbly performed by Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, with Michel McAdam as Irene Adler and Mark Strong also superbly performing the part of Lord Henry Blackwood.

Plot of the movie
The bloodthirsty British serial killer Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong), who has a taste for sinister, esoteric rituals, terrorizes late 1800s London. Enter Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's observant detective SHERLOCK HOLMES (Robert Downey Jr.) and his sidekick Dr. Watson (Jude Law), who manage to apprehend Blackwood and place him in jail. However, after being hanged, his body vanishes from the crypt, giving the impression that he has returned to life to pursue Holmes. But what is Holmes to do when Watson is ready to get engaged and an old flame (Rachel McAdams) is pestering him?

Hans Zimmer composed chic and flawless music for the movie.
