CineTV Contest #44 - Favorite Batman Film or T.V. Show

Hello CineTV

So the winter movies contest did not get the response that I had hoped as it is definitely more challenging than a Sandra Bullock movie! It is not easy to come up with great contest ideas but I hope that everyone enjoys them.

Winter is such a bleak time where I live. I just heard a report that a city in my state had 5 minutes of sunshine over the first 8 days of 2023. It feels like that sometimes where I live as well, that the sun won't break through the clouds and you are stuck with grey clouds all day. But spring will be here before you know it!

Thanks to all who participated in the contest for this week! I appreciated your entries and as usual I struggled to pick the very best ones. But enough of that, let's get to our contest winners!

First Place

Our first place winner in this contest is @mypathtofire with their choice of The Grey and can be found here: @mypathtofire/cinetv-contest-the-grey

I loved your choice of film. It was a perfect example of winter. Liam Neeson fighting people and the cold. This was a unique choice that I thought exemplified the contest. Thanks so much!

Second place

In second place we have @giocondina with their choice of Frozen here: @giocondina/cine-tv-contest-frozen

It's crazy but I hadn't even considered Frozen when I created this contest but it is a very logical choice. I think this animated film definitely represents winter and I appreciated your review. Thanks so much and congrats!

Third place

The third place finisher was @ksmith7 with a review of A Simple Plan found here: @ksmith7/cinetvconstest43-a-simple-plan-in-the-cold-snow-eng-esp

Thank you so much for a unique choice of movie. I really appreciate you interacting with the topic and describing winter in Venezuela. The movie seemed very appropriately snowy and cold. Congrats!

Congrats!

225 CINE COINS and 100 Ecency Points will be transferred to the winners.

Now if anyone disagrees with our choices then please tag us in a comment on this post!

And let's move on to the new contest!

Favorite Batman Film or T.V. Show

On to our next contest! Thank you to @ecency for sponsoring our Cine TV contests! Check them out at ecency.com. 🙂

"I'm Batman." I can't help it. I absolutely love comic books or at least I used to when I was younger. Now I don't have time to read comic books but I do enjoy comic book movie adaptations. For some reason, The Dark Knight has always appealed to me as a bit of a darker hero. He is a hero with a rough backstory that used that pain to try and help others.

There are so many Batman movies and shows that hopefully you should not have a hard time to choose one. For this contest I would like you to select your favorite Batman movie or television show and then give us a review of it. Tell us why you chose that particular instance of Batman. Here are some sample questions: do you even like the character, what draws you to him or his story, do you think he is a true hero, what about this movie or show made it stand out, what other characters in the movie or show did you like, would you want a real vigilante like Batman on the loose, and what super hero would you wish I had chosen instead of him?

Those are just some ideas to get you started. Please be original and write a creative response to the topic. Don't retell the plot or plagiarize. Originality is required for curation and to be considered for the contest.

I look forward to reading your selections! Have a great week!

Please check out the list of rules and suggestions below or feel free to ask me in the Discord channel if you have any questions (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
