Cine TV Contest #26 - Worst Movie You've Seen

Hello CineTV

I see that @papacrusher spilled the beans that I was on vacation for the last 2 weeks and I have to say that it was an amazing time with my family! Let me share one photo from my trip and let's see if you can guess where I was when I took this picture in the comments. :)

Now that I am back, I want to thank Papa for handling all of the contest business. Vacations are awesome but they do come to an end. So now we can all live vicariously through movies and pick the winners from our Favorite Vacation or Getaway Movie contest. This was very difficult for me, as I had to go back and read the submissions because I was gone and also because there were some fantastic entries!

First Place

In first place in this contest we have a submission by @irenenavarroart where she highlighted the film "Last Holiday" and can be found here: @irenenavarroart/cinetv-contest-the-last-holiday
I enjoyed the review and the premise of the movie in that we have to take time in our lives to enjoy things. We hope that they don't wait until our life's end but that we all deserve time away and experiences. I hope you get to take a holiday soon!

Second place

@giocondina provided our second place entry about the movie, "Lost in Tokyo", here: @giocondina/cine-tv-contest-25-lost-in-tokyo-eng-esp
I am a huge Bill Murray fan and I enjoyed your review of this movie that I haven't seen. It looks like a very enjoyable film and highlights a city I have always wanted to visit. Thank you for your submission!

Third place

In third place, @mairene1 submitted a review of the movie, "RV" or "Runaway Vacation", here: @mairene1/cinetv-contest-run-away-vacation-review-espeng

I have never seen this film either but I love the tension between work and vacation and trying to please everyone. Robin Williams was a stellar talent who made some incredibly funny films. I need to add this to my list to watch. :)

Congrats!

225 CINE COINS and 100 Ecency Points will be transferred to the winners.

Now if anyone disagrees with our choices then please tag us in a comment on this post!

And let's move on to the new contest!

Worst Movie You've Seen

Write about the Worst Movie You've Seen

Let's face it, there are some real stinkers in cinema. With all of the critics, reviews and other previews out there it is pretty easy to learn about a film and perhaps have a good idea what it will be about or whether it will be enjoyable. However, because films are subjective there are some films that just don't resonate, either by the story, characters, or how it was directed. I don't usually pick negative topics but I thought it would be fun to hear people's views on their least favorite film that they have seen.

So here is the contest, write about your least favorite movie. Tell us why you disliked it and give specific reasons that are your own personal opinions. Did you see it in the theater? Did you walk out? Did it offend you somehow? What specifically made you think of this movie when you read the contest?
Entries that get curated and that will be in the running for the contest:

  1. will share your own personal stories and opinions
  2. will not be overtly offensive or rude
  3. will refer to a movie that you have actually seen
  4. will not just recount, retell or spin a movie on the Worst Movies List

So show us what you've got and I can't wait to read your entries!
