The American actor has been a source of inspiration for me over the years. Popularly known as "John Rambo" because of his protagonist role in his movies "First, second, third and fourth blood". The actor passed through a whole lot of hardship including being homeless doing his pre-acting days. On one occasion he was known to have sold his dog(which he later bought back with his first earning from acting) in other to survive. When he wrote his first script, he got turned down a couple of times but he never lowered his standard nor compromised his dream for a short term gain or luxury.

He stands as a human symbol of courage and resilience to me and his constant nature of never giving up even in the face of severe torture and uncomfortable conditions has endeared him to me. He was a man to take on an army of specially trained troops who he was bent of securing is behind the enemy line.
When faced with limited resources, he is known to be creative. Very fast and efficient in making use of the little resources he could find around him and was a master at strategic warfare. Very cunning in the field and very fast in executing his moves. He also had a made of knife was was unique to him alone. He has a thing for team spirit and is known to show a high and effective sense of leadership.
Stallone is known to also have a distinctive snarly expression which sometimes seems to appear as if he is smiling, this was later tagged has his signature look. I learnt it was as a result of a birth accident but the expression added so well to his unique way of facial expression when acting that in my teenage years i tend to mimick this expression. It appears as a kind of way to show inner confidence and total control of various feelings.
When speaking, he has a kind of slurred speech and never wastes his words. He also says what is necessary and leaves the rest to action. Stallone never cowered in the face of adversity nor does he show fear. He was ready to take the hard way no matter the cost.
In most of his movies, he does not exhibit romantic affiliations and even when he does, it is not sustained for long. This shows he does good not because of someone alone but because of everyone.
As seen in his movie "Second Blood", he was sent in to the enemy territory to take photographs alone and return safely to base. But seeing the piteous state of the PWs, he risked his safety and life to free them. Even though he got betrayed once and got captured, after his escape, he did not leave anyone behind. This shows a true expression of selflessness and sympathy for humanity.
This is one actor i never wished to see getting old.
