Greetings to all the CineTV Community, when I read about this contest, I thought of many movies where the father has the instinct to fight for his children and do whatever it takes for their safety and stability.
This film of Turkish origin breaks paradigms in many ways, it is not a rosy story, it is strong and at the same time very emotional, even the hardest feeling person can end up shedding tears with this film.
Memo is a sheep herder with a certain disability, he lives with his daughter Ova (the mother died when the girl was born) and her grandmother Fatma in a coastal area of Turkey, they are from humble origins and it is a very close family. In addition, there is a special communication between father and daughter, key words and phrases between them, they play as if they were the same age and it is something that the girl enjoys very much.
One day the little girl looks at Heidy's bag on the counter and tells her father that she wants it, they had no money and Memo promised her that he would buy it for her when they sold caramel apples at the town event; she just didn't count on that the longed-for bag would be taken by Seda, the daughter of a military authority.
A few days later, several children were playing in a rocky area, for some reason Memo was nearby and as it is customary for children to make fun of him for not understanding his condition, he continued the game with Seda, only that the girl was approaching the edge of the cliff, falling among the stones and ending up in the waters of the river. The shepherd tried to save her, only that this brought him a major inconvenience, he was accused of causing the accident.
This would be the beginning of the poor man's bitter destiny, the anguish of his daughter and grandmother for not knowing anything about him, the tortures to make him plead guilty. All the wrath of the military authority for the loss of his daughter Seda would be applied to the ultimate consequences for Memo.
Memo was placed in cell number 7 and as the cause of his imprisonment became known, his comrades gave him a welcome that left him almost moribund. However, time proved the pastor's nobility and they realized that he was innocent.
He became friends with all the prisoners, who did have a long record for various crimes. The shepherd suffered for not being able to see his daughter and grandmother, until the prison leader used his influence to reunite the man with Ova.
The happiness of reuniting father and daughter would be marred by two pieces of news; the court sentence that would lead him to the gallows and Fatma's death a few days later. Ova, in the absence of her second mother, is left in charge of the teacher Mine.
The inmates are outraged at the fatal fate of the innocent man and talk to the prison warden to seek a solution to this abuse of power. Of all Memo's cellmates, there is one named Yusuf who has a past that haunts him and he really has no will to live.
The day of the pastor's execution arrived, the pain of losing his innocent daughter. Everyone in cell #7 was dismayed to say goodbye to the man, as he left the corridor by a miracle of life, Memo was changed by another prisoner: the mysterious Yusuf; who assumed the position on the gallows voluntarily in complicity with the prison authorities.
Memo and Ova immediately escaped with the help of the prison warden. Thus, father and daughter were reunited, never to be separated and to have a new life.

Saludos a toda la Comunidad CineTV, cuando leí acerca de este concurso, pensé en muchas películas donde el padre tiene el instinto de luchar por sus hijos y hacer todo lo que sea necesario por su seguridad y estabilidad.
Esta película de origen turco rompe paradigmas en muchos sentidos, no es una historia color de rosa, es fuerte y a su vez muy emotiva, hasta la persona más dura de sentimientos puede terminar derramando lagrimas con este film.
Memo es un pastor de ovejas con cierta discapacidad, él vive con su hija Ova (la madre murió al nacer la niña) y su abuela Fatma en una zona costera de Turquía, son de orígenes humildes y es una familia muy unida. Además, hay una comunicación especial entre padre e hija, palabras y frases clave entre ellos, juegan como si tuvieran la misma edad y es algo que la niña disfruta mucho.
Un buen día la niña mira al mostrador un bolso de Heidy y le dice a su papá que ella lo quiere, no tenían dinero y Memo le prometió que se lo compraría cuando vendieran las manzanas caramelizadas en el evento del pueblo; solo que no contaba con que el tan anhelado morral se lo llevara Seda, la hija de una autoridad militar.
A los días varios niños jugaban en una zona de piedras, por alguna razón Memo se encontraba cerca y como es costumbre que los niños se burlaran de él por no comprender su condición, prosiguió el juego con Seda, solo que la niña se fue acercando al borde del precipicio, cayendo entre las piedras y terminando en las aguas del río. El pastor intentó salvarla, solo que esto le trajo un inconveniente mayor, fue acusado de provocar el accidente.
Esto sería el principio del amargo destino del pobre hombre, la angustia de su hija y de su abuela por no saber nada de él, las torturas para que se declarara culpable. Toda la ira de la autoridad militar por la pérdida de su hija Seda sería aplicada hasta las últimas consecuencias para Memo.
Memo fue ingresado a la celda número 7 y en vista de que se supo la causa de su encarcelamiento, sus compañeros le dieron una bienvenida que lo dejó casi moribundo. Sin embargo, el tiempo demostró la nobleza del pastor y se dieron cuenta que era inocente.
Se hizo amigo de todos los presos, los cuales sí tenían un amplio prontuario por diversos delitos. El pastor sufría por no poder ver a su hija y a su abuela, hasta que el líder de la prisión utilizó sus influencias para que aquel hombre se reencontrara con Ova.
La felicidad de volverse a reunir padre e hija se vería empañada por dos noticias; la sentencia del juzgado que lo llevaría a la horca y la muerte de Fatma unos días después. Ova con la ausencia de su segunda madre, se queda a cargo de la maestra Mine.
Los reclusos están indignados con el destino fatal del hombre inocente y hablan con el encargado de la prisión para buscar una solución a este abuso de poder. De todos los compañeros de celda de Memo, hay uno llamado Yusuf que tiene un pasado que lo atormenta y realmente no tiene ganas de vivir.
Llegó el día de la ejecución del pastor, el dolor de perder a su hija siendo inocente. Todos consternados en la celda #7 se despedían del hombre, al salir del pasillo por un milagro de la vida, Memo fue cambiado por otro prisionero: el misterioso Yusuf; quien asumió el puesto en la horca voluntariamente en complicidad con las autoridades de la cárcel.
Inmediatamente Memo y Ova escaparon con ayuda del encargado de la cárcel. Haciendo que padre e hija se reencontraran para no separarse nunca y teniendo una nueva vida.
