Langsam wieder Frühling in Wien. Sonnenschein.
Die Nachrichten überschlagen sich weiter.
Borris Johnson Corona-positiv getestet, hat leichte Symptome bis jetzt, und möchte in Selbstisolation weiterregieren. Habe mich schon die letzten Tage gefragt, was passieren würde, wenn Kurz oder Merkel an Corona erkranken. Wünsche Borris gute Besserung!
Habe mir jetzt die Mühe gemacht, die Zahlen zwischen der EU und den USA zu vergleichen. Eigentlich hat die EU trotz Shutdown längst China überholt, wurde aber nicht wirklich berichtet.
Solche Vergleiche sind aber beinahe wertlos im Moment, da die Zahlen der bestätigten Fälle von Land zu Land wegen Unterschieden in der Methodik und der Dunkelziffer ohnehin nicht wirklich vergleichbar sind.

Fluggesellschaften wohl am stärksten von der Krise betroffen, da auch nach dem Shutdown der Flugverkehr wahrscheinlich für längere Zeit nur sehr eingeschränkt möglich sein wird, um die Virusausbreitung zu verlangsamen.
Mittlerweile finden sogar Leerflüge mit 0 (Null) Passagieren statt. 2008 wurden Leerverkäufe an den Börsen angeprangert. Gibt es immer noch by the way, manches ändert sich eben trotz Krise nicht. Heute Leerflüge und Leerfahrten 😂
Kontaktloses Zahlen in Österreich bald bis 50 Euro ohne PIN möglich. Wird eh bald auf 100 Euro angehoben werden müssen, wegen der kommenden Euro-Inflation 😂
Positive Nachricht: Der Handel darf jetzt in Österreich auch sonntags liefern, Lebensmittelhändler dürfen auch am Sonntag zustellen und es gibt keine künstliche Beschränkung des Sortiments. Bravo!
Gestern wurde um 18:00 geklatscht, hab mich kurz gewundert, woher der Lärm kommt, zwei gegenüberliegende Wohnungen, sonst niemand, war spazieren. Alleine.
Ich bedanke mich bei der Gelegenheit bei allen Menschen, die trotz Coronavirus weiterarbeiten, um das System aufrecht zu halten und Leben retten <3

Slowly spring again in Vienna. Sunshine.
The news continues to roll over.
Borris Johnson tested Corona-positive, has mild symptoms so far, and wants to continue to run the country in self-isolation. I have been wondering for the last few days what would happen if Kurz or Merkel were to fall ill with corona. Wish Borris a speedy recovery!
I have now taken the time to compare the figures between the EU and the U.S. Actually, the EU has long since overtaken China, that has not really been reported. Focus was on Italy only.
However, such comparisons are almost worthless at the moment, as the figures of confirmed cases are not really comparable from country to country anyway due to differences in methodology and the number of unreported cases.
Anyhow, here are the numbers:

Airlines are likely to be hardest hit by the crisis, as even after the shutdown, air traffic will probably be very limited for a long time to slow down the spread of the virus.
Meanwhile even empty flights with 0 (zero) passengers are taking place. In 2008, short sales on the stock exchanges were criticized. Short sales still exists by the way, some things just do not change despite the crisis. Today empty flights and empty trips 😂
Contactless payment in Austria soon possible up to 50 euros without the need to enter the PIN. Will have to be raised to 100 Euro soon anyway, due to the upcoming inflation 😂
Positive news: Retailers in Austria are now allowed to deliver on Sundays, food retailers are also allowed to deliver on Sundays and there is no artificial restriction of the product range. Congrats!
Yesterday there was an applause "concert" at 6:00 pm, I wondered for a moment where the noise was coming from, two apartments opposite each other applauded each other, nobody else, went for a walk. Alone.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who, despite the coronavirus, continue to work to keep the system running and save lives <3
