Unglaublich aber wahr, der Wahnsinn nimmt seinen Lauf und zeigt sich heute von einer ganz neuen Seite.
Ich denke mal das ihr mit der allseits beliebten #LMAC CHALLENGE einigermaßen vertraut seid und mein künstlerisches Treiben dort bemerkt habt.
In der letzten Runde dieser farbenfrohen Fotocollagen Show, bastelte ich vor Begeisterung gleich 11 Kunstexemplare und tat mich am Ende etwas schwer damit eines auszuwählen und bat meine Zuschauer darum, mir bei der Auswahl behilflich zu sein.
Das Ergebnis der kleinen Umfrage überraschte mich, hatte ich doch nicht damit gerechnet das die Geschmäcker so verschieden sind und war am Ende noch unsicherer als vorher.
Also stellte ich jenes Bild, welches ich auch als Aufmacher für meinen Beitrag wählte, als Kandidaten für das große Finale in den Räumen der LMAC aus, zwar nicht rundum überzeugt vom Erfolg, aber doch zufrieden.
Dann geschah etwas sonderbares.

I think that you are somewhat familiar with the ever-popular #LMAC CHALLENGE and have noticed my artistic hustle and bustle there.
In the last round of this colorful photo collage show, I tinkered with enthusiasm equal to 11 art copies and did me, in the end, a little difficult to choose one and asked my viewers to help me in the selection.
The result of the small survey surprised me, I had not expected that the tastes are so different and we're in the end even more uncertain than before.
So I put out that picture, which I also chose as the lead for my contribution, as a candidate for the grand finale in the rooms of LMAC, not completely convinced of success, but still satisfied.
Then something strange happened.
Als ich meinen Namen in den Notifications entdeckte, wusste ich das mein Kunstwerk es geschafft hatte Einzug ins Finale zu halten und neugierig schaute ich nach, wer neben mir noch dabei war.
Da erblickte ich plötzlich eines meiner Bilder was ich gar nicht eingereicht hatte.
Egal, ist auch ein gelungenes dachte ich mir und war etwas verwundert darüber, wie es dieses Werk wohl ins Finale schaffte!?
Die einzige Erklärung die ich für dieses Phänomen hatte war die, das die Jury sich mit meiner Auswahl nicht zufrieden gab und stattdessen ihren Favoriten aus meiner Ausstellung griff und ihn als Anwärter auf den Kunstpreis aufnahm.
Na ob das mal gut geht, dachte ich mir.
When I saw my name in the notifications, I knew that my artwork had made it into the finals and curiously I looked to see who else was there beside me.
Suddenly I saw one of my pictures which I had not submitted at all.
No matter is also successful I thought to myself and was a little surprised about how this work probably made it into the finals!
The only explanation I had for this phenomenon was that the jury was not satisfied with my selection and instead picked their favorite from my exhibition and took him as a candidate for the art prize.
I wonder if that will ever work out, I thought to myself.
Heute war die Siegerehrung und ich traute meinen Augen kaum.

Aber nicht nur in der Kunst treibt der Wahnsinn seine Blüten, sondern auch auf dem Essenstisch.
Es ist eigentlich nicht üblich sein eigenes Essen mit ins Restaurant zu bringen, aber in diesem Fall drückte der Wirt ein Auge zu.
Ein Freund aus Olhão gesellte sich zum Fußball schauen an unseren Tisch, in der Hand einen großen Teller mit Krebs Getier.
But not only in the art, the madness drives his blossoms, but also on the dinner table.
It is not customary to bring your food to the restaurant, but in this case, the host turned a blind eye.
A friend from Olhão joined our table to watch soccer, holding a big plate of crab in his hands.
Die dicken Dinger stammen von einer Art, die im Gegensatz zu ihren Kollegen über zwei unterschiedlich große Scheren verfügt, wobei die größere zum graben von Löchern im Sand zum Einsatz kommt.
Bricht man dem armen Tier sein Grabwerkzeug ab, wächst es angeblich wieder nach.
Ob´s wirklich stimmt weiß ich nicht sicher zu sagen und muss daher den Worten des Jägers vertrauen.
Jedenfalls war der gute Mann fängig wie man im Bilde sehen kann und den Gedanken an das Leid des Krebses verdrängend, langten wir ordentlich zu und ließen es uns schmecken.
Leider blieb mir beim Ergebnis des Fußballspiels fast ein Bissen im Halse stecken, 4:2 gegen Deutschland zu verlieren und das mit zwei Eigentoren, ist schon heftig.
Hoffentlich hat der Wahnsinn heute gegen Frankreich ein Ende und Portugal zieht souverän ins Achtelfinale.
Noch bleibt es spannend!

In any case, the good man was catching as you can see in the picture and the thought of the suffering of the crab´s suppressing, we took a good bite and let us taste it.
Unfortunately, the result of the soccer game almost left me with a bite stuck in my throat, to lose 4:2 against Germany and that with two own goals is already violent.
Hopefully, the madness will come to an end today against France and Portugal will make it to the round of 16.
It's still exciting!
