Oh wie schön ist es doch auch in diesem Jahr wieder. Auch wenn der heiße Stern auf uns hernieder glüht, fühle ich mich doch zur Zeit sehr wohl. Nicht weil der Sommer meine Lieblingsjahreszeit wäre, oh nein, der Frühling versprüht viel mehr Charme und ist weit angenehmer und schöner. Aber warum sollte ich nicht versuchen, auch dem Sommer etwas abzugewinnen? Er ist nun einmal da und kommt jedes Jahr wieder. Unbestellt aber doch meistens pünktlich.
Da es nichts bringt darauf zu hoffen, dass die Zukunft endlich besser wird als die Gegenwart, genieße ich auch jetzt jeden Tag und versuche das Beste daraus zu machen. Und das heißt, dass ich neben all dem Schwitzen und dem Suchen nach einen kühlen Fleckchen dann auch trotzdem gerne nach draußen gehe.
Und weil ja gerade Sommer ist, bin ich halt öfters mal am Strand, wo wir uns ein doch ganz nettes Plätzchen gefunden haben. Bei den vorherrschenden Temperaturen schaffen wir es zwar immer erst am späteren Nachmittag ans Wasser, aber wenn wir dann mal da sind, bleiben wir dann bis in den Abend dort und machen es uns ab und zu auch mit einem Feuerchen gemütlich. Und auf dem versuchen wir dann, uns etwas Leckeres zu brutzeln. Denn draußen schmeckt es uns einfach am besten!

Oh how beautiful is this year again. Even though the hot sun is sizzling down on us, I feel very comfortable at the moment. Not because summer would be my favorite season, oh no, spring exudes much more charm and is far more pleasant and beautiful. But why shouldn't I try to get something out of summer as well? It is here now and it is going to stay, and it comes back every year. Without being asked, but mostly on time.
And because it is useless to hope that the future will be better than the present, I enjoy every day and try to make the best of it. And that means that besides all the sweating and looking for a cool spot, I still like to go outside.
Since it's summer, I'm often at the beach, where we have found a nice spot. With the prevailing temperatures, we only go there in the late afternoon, but when we are there, we stay until the evening. We often make ourselves comfortable by having a little fire on which we try to cook something delicious. Because it simply tastes best outside!
