| Die Tage war ich bei uns im Trinkgut und hab mich mal am Ginregal umgeschaut. Hin und wieder haben die hier auch mal was im Angebot. Und so auch dieses Mal. Und zwar den Tanqueray Sevilla für nur knapp 15 €. Da konnte ich nicht wiederstehen und habe mir gleich eine Flasche mitgenommen. | The days I was in the Trinkgut supermarket and have looked around at the gin shelf. | Der Gin selbst hat eine leichte Orangennote und macht in so etwas Bittersüß. Schon mal eine gute Grundlage. Probiert habe ich ihn dann einmal mit einem Thomas Henry Indian Tonic Water und einmal mit dem Fever Tree Mediterrain Tonic Water. | The gin itself has a slight orange note and makes in so something bittersweet. Already a good basis. I then tried it once with a Thomas Henry Indian Tonic Water and once with the Fever Tree Mediterrain Tonic Water. |
| Das Indian Tonic lässt natürlich etwas mehr vom originalen Gingeschmack durch wobei das Mediterraine Tonic die Orange mit seiner Kräuternote nochmal unterstreicht. Verdammt, das klingt ja schon fast als wäre ich ein Kenner. 😅 Bin aber nur ein Genießer. | The Indian Tonic, of course, leaves a little more of the original taste of gin through, while the Mediterraine Tonic underlines the orange with its herbal note. Damn, that sounds almost as if I were a connoisseur. 😅 But I'm just a pleasure drinker. |
| Mein Tonic kaufe ich nicht in großen Liter oder halbliterflaschen sondern in kleinen 0,2 liter Glasflaschen. Das ist zwar etwas teurer, reicht aber genau für eine Portion. So muss man sich dann nicht zwingen nich einen zweiten oder dritten zu trinken nur weil die Flasche Tonic offen steht. | I do not buy my tonic in large liter or half-liter bottles but in small 0.2 liter glass bottles. This is a little more expensive, but is enough for exactly one serving. So you don't have to force yourself to drink a second or third just because the tonic bottle is open. |
