Beim Wandern heut, sind mir zwei Dinge passiert. Einmal hab ich eine Munitionskiste gefunden (GeoCaching). Ein cooles Highlight. Ich hab mir den Standort direkt markiert und werde mit meinem großen mal auf Schatzsuche gehen.
Dann hab ich einen interessanten Waldläufer getroffen dem es jetzt nicht mehr so gut geht.
Mein Hund ist nunmehr 6 Monate alt und läuft hervorragend direkt neben mir, egal ob da andere Hunde, Rehe, Fahrradfahrer oder ähnliches kommen. Aus diesem Grunde hab ich ihn im Wald auch nicht an der Leine.
Nun musste mein kleiner Pisseln und machte dies völlig friedlich am Wegesrand. Der nette Läufer zog in diesem Moment sein Pfefferspray und besprühte damit meinen Hund.
Kenai winselte Erbärmlich stark. Der Läufer danach auch. Sein Pfefferspray ist leer und er war sehr traurig darüber.
Ich kann natürlich Menschen verstehen wenn sie Angst vor Tieren haben. Aber einfach so ohne Grund einen Hund mit Pfefferspray angreifen ist absolut keine Lösung. Blöd nur wenn das Herrchen dann gefährlicher wie der Hund ist.
Nun es ist absolut Unverständlich wenn Leute ihre Hunde ohne Leine laufen lassen und wissen (oder nicht) das der Hund beißen könnte. Nun habe ich aber sehr viel Erfahrung mit Hunden, gebe ihnen eine gute Erziehung und kann mir sehr sicher sein das mein Hund niemanden beißt. Kenai genießt eine Ausbildung zum Therapiehund der dann in der Tiergestützten Pädagogik eingesetzt wird. Er arbeitet im Kindergarten. Ein beißen ist absolut nicht erlaubt. Naja gut, die Angst kann er trotzdem haben. Solang der Hund aber Abstand hält und sich nichtmal für den anderen Menschen interessiert besteht auch kein Handlungsbedarf. Nun gut, er hat mich und meinen Hund angegriffen und bevor er noch mehr Pfefferspray verteilt hab ich ihm das weggenommen und sorgsam verteilt.
Solche Menschen machen mir echt Angst.

Two things happened to me while hiking today. Once I found an ammunition box (GeoCaching). A cool highlight. I marked the location directly and will go on a treasure hunt with my big one.
Then I met an interesting ranger who is not doing so well anymore.
My dog is now 6 months old and runs very well right next to me, no matter if there are other dogs, deer, cyclists or similar. For this reason I do not have him on a leash in the forest.
Now my little piss had to pee and did this completely peacefully by the wayside. The nice runner drew his pepper spray at this moment and sprayed my dog with it.
Kenai whined pathetically. The runner afterwards too. His pepper spray is empty and he was very sad about it.
Of course I can understand people when they are afraid of animals. But attacking a dog with pepper spray for no reason is absolutely no solution. Too bad if the owner is more dangerous than the dog.
Well, it is absolutely incomprehensible if people let their dogs run without a leash and know (or don't know) that the dog might bite. Now I have a lot of experience with dogs, give them a good education and can be very sure that my dog does not bite anyone. Kenai is trained as a therapy dog and is then used in animal assisted pedagogy. He works in the kindergarten. Biting is absolutely not allowed. Well well, he can still be afraid. But as long as the dog keeps his distance and is not even interested in the other person, there is no need for action. Well, he attacked me and my dog and before he gave me more pepper spray I took it away and carefully distributed it.
People like that really scare me.
