¡De gota a gota se llena el vaso! | From drop to drop the glass is full!

Estamos sumamente contentos de que ya somos 20 integrantes en Acroronin, mi compañero @roninvsa y yo estamos esforzándonos muchísimo en que nuestra academia se consolide como una escuela propiamente dicho, desde noviembre del año 2020 estamos impartiendo clases en el urbanismo donde vivimos.

Recuerdo que Camila fue nuestra primera alumna, y aunque no pudo continuar por motivos personales es realmente gracias a ella y a la confianza que depositó en nosotros su mamá que nos hizo expandirnos cada vez más, de forma lenta, pero ¡miren los resultados ahora! (en otro post haré una recopilación de todas las niñas, debo trabajar arduamente en recolectar fotos y vídeos más la edición sé que lo disfrutarán tanto como yo) luego de Camila, llegó la bebé Maia de 2 años, luego de Maia vinieron Alba, Aurora y Victoria, y de ahí todas las demás y la verdad nunca creímos que llegaríamos hasta aquí.

We are extremely happy that we are already 20 members in Acroronin, my partner @roninvsa and I are working very hard to consolidate our academy as a proper school, since November 2020 we are teaching classes in the urbanism where we live.

I remember that Camila was our first student, and although she could not continue for personal reasons it is really thanks to her and the trust that her mom placed in us that made us expand more and more, slowly, but look at the results now! (in another post I will make a compilation of all the girls, I must work hard in collecting photos and videos plus editing I know you will enjoy it as much as I do) after Camila, came baby Maia 2 years old, after Maia came Alba, Aurora and Victoria, and from there all the others and the truth we never thought we would get here.

El segundo taller de Acroronin | Acroronin's second workshop

Luego de las primeras clases de telas aéreas vino el 1° taller (si apenas me conoces, te invito a leer mi post titulado “nuestro primer taller de Acrobalance” el cual fue impartido en la Ciudad de Caracas en los espacios de Parque Central, por si quién me lea también es venezolano) dicho taller formó parte fundamental del crecimiento de nuestra Academia, pues nos sirvió como un estilo de trabajo de campo para ver que realmente hay una receptividad por parte de las personas y que siempre habrán personas que se animen a probar algo diferente y su éxito alimentó nuestro espíritu y perseverancia. Ahora nuestro segundo taller y al que va dedicado este post, fue de telas aéreas, en una escuela de danza llamada “La Colmenita Cultural” (¡el nombre me encanta!) dicho taller fue impartido hace 2 semanas atrás, dicha escuela de danza también hace vida en nuestro urbanismo.

After the first classes of aerial fabrics came the 1st workshop (if you just know me, I invite you to read my post titled "our first Acrobalance workshop" which was taught in the city of Caracas in the spaces of Parque Central, in case you are also Venezuelan) this workshop was a fundamental part of the growth of our Academy, because it served us as a style of field work to see that there really is a receptivity on the part of people and that there will always be people who are encouraged to try something different and its success fed our spirit and perseverance. Now our second workshop and to which this post is dedicated, was of aerial fabrics, in a dance school called "La Colmenita Cultural" (I love the name!) This workshop was given 2 weeks ago, this dance school also lives in our urbanism.

Aquí una vez más la receptividad estuvo presente, los niños son la definición carnal de “universalidad” pues en las redes sociales, veo niños de todos lados del mundo reaccionando ante personas reconocidas del circo específicamente de telas aéreas cómo reaccionan y cómo se acercan con toda ingenuidad e inocencia a lo que ellos ven no como un peligro sino como algo colorido, llamativo y hermoso.

La iniciativa sale a raíz de que el profesor de dicha escuela de danza se acercó a hablar con nosotros luego de una reunión donde fuimos invitados para afinar los detalles de una colaboración que prestaríamos en la inauguración de unos juegos comunitarios, donde hicimos una demostración de nuestro número de telas; para un intercambio de saberes, donde él buscaba lo que nosotros tenemos y nosotros lo que él tiene, expresión corporal y danza (algo que cabe acotar, desde pequeña siempre quise hacer).

Here once again the receptivity was present, children are the carnal definition of "universality" because in social networks, I see children from all over the world reacting to recognized people from the circus specifically from aerial fabrics, how they react and how they approach with all naivety and innocence to what they see not as a danger but as something colorful, striking and beautiful.

The initiative comes from the fact that the teacher of this dance school came to talk to us after a meeting where we were invited to refine the details of a collaboration that we would provide at the opening of some community games, where we did a demonstration of our number of fabrics; for an exchange of knowledge, where he was looking for what we have and we what he has, body expression and dance (something that should be noted, since I was a child I always wanted to do).

El profesor se mostró muy apreciador de lo que hacemos y muy interesado en que sus pequeñas también incursionen en el mundo de las telas ya que el arte corporal es como un ecosistema que se alimenta y retroalimenta constantemente, y quien domine la danza, la expresión corporal más un elemento circense está destinado a ser un artista exitoso, pero todo es cuestión de proposición y voluntad.

Había alrededor de 10 niñas y 3 varones ¡no saben cuánto nos entusiasmó que hubo varones! Los varones para nosotros son como unicornios al menos en el campo de personas donde me desenvuelvo, ya que tienen el pequeño temor de que piensen que es una actividad “solo de niñas” lo cual es algo molesto para nosotros.

The teacher was very appreciative of what we do and very interested in his little ones also dabbling in the world of fabrics because body art is like an ecosystem that feeds and feeds back constantly, and whoever masters dance, body expression plus a circus element is destined to be a successful artist, but it's all a matter of proposition and will.

There were about 10 girls and 3 boys, you don't know how excited we were that there were boys! Boys for us are like unicorns, at least in the field of people where I work, because they have the small fear that they think it is a "girl's only" activity, which is a bit annoying for us.

Inmediatamente felicitamos a los varones por estar allí, por quedarse y atreverse, aunque más que felicitarles, agradecerles, pues la confianza siempre es lo que determina que las personas se atrevan, y la confianza es invaluable. Hubo una mixtura de emociones, hubo una niña que lloró, otra era muy tímida, otras lo lograron a la primera vez, otras no lograron subir, pero lo intentaron, pero desde que se pisamos esa escuela todo fue un logro, todo depende de cómo quieras ver la situación.

Ese día quedó establecido el intercambio de saberes Acroronin - La Colmena Cultura, esperamos de todo corazón que sea un completo éxito y que salgan muchas cosas positivas y provechosas de ese nuevo camino que vamos a empezar, aquí les comparto las fotos de ese taller. Espero les guste. <3

We immediately congratulated the boys for being there, for staying and daring, although more than congratulating them, we thanked them, because confidence is always what determines that people dare, and confidence is invaluable. There was a mixture of emotions, there was a girl who cried, another one was very shy, others made it the first time, others did not make it up, but they tried, but since we stepped on that school everything was an achievement, it all depends on how you want to see the situation.

That day was established the exchange of knowledge Acroronin - La Colmena Cultura, we hope with all our heart that it will be a complete success and that many positive and profitable things come out of this new path that we are going to start, here I share with you the photos of that workshop.
