When I first introduced @zelegations on Steem, I think I may have over intellectually explained the situation and should have used more laymans terms because "Privacy is something we all have backwards" stated a Zcash VC to arrive at the point I'm trying to make.
What is a Zelegation?
In theory the Zelegation is the most private way to secure a Hive Power Delegation. This is where the term zelegation came from,(paid with) Zcash Delegation. Ideally you would pay me using the Z Address, but a burner Zcash T address could be utilized when people cant understand or don't have access to a Z-Address or Privacy Technology to process their payment with true end-to-end encryption. Monero, Digibyte and a few other cybercoins are potential payment forms, but I truly believe the Z-Address is superior privacy technology to all other payment intermediaries.
Why an infinite "money supply" currency?
FIAT's biggest historical examples of failures came from central reserve's over printing monetary units, what makes you believe decentralized monetary units with unlimited money supply will prevent a similar outcome?
The idea behind this project is to use the stability of the monetary units of Zcash as a hedge against the unlimited supply of Hive in order to leverage better quality of service if that hedge proves profitable. The excess return on the Zcash held from delegation payments could be monetized into Hive Power anytime through concierge voters we use, and applied to the community who also supports the Zcash Vision for Privacy as a Human Right.
