Hello everyone! Today I am going to share some picture of a scrumptious meal I had during my recent short trip to Perak, Malaysia.
I attended a family function in Sitiawan. It is a town located in Perak, Malaysia. It was actually a prayers done for my deceased relative who passed away 2 years ago. My family and I couldn't attend her funeral due to Covid-19 restrictions at the time. We could only watch it through live video calls. The following year, we couldn't attend the prayers either because my father wasn't well. So this year we were determined to join the prayers so she attains peace and gains Moksha.
The place my family along with my cousin's family went to was a food court. We went to have our dinner there. There were many restaurants there and the one we went to was Pusat Makanan 77. The literal translation is 777 Food Outlet. You can see the prices for the drinks in this picture along the name.
This is the drink that I ordered. It is a Chinese herbal drink.
This is what my brother ordered. It is barley drink. The rest of my family ordered the same items, one being herbal drink and the other barley like this.

Here's the mandatory bird's eye chilli infused in soy sauce. It is quite spicy and can burn if you are not used to it. I love it though.
This is Wanton Mee, which is what my family and I ordered as we heard it is special and yummy here. Since I don't eat pork, I got the one with chicken. It has other items as well such as vegetables, fish cake, fish balls and tauhu. I savored it to the last bits. It was so yummy!
This was right before eating. I had to take a picture as it is not every day that we go far away to Perak and have these local meals.

By the way, the noodles were a little too much for my family and we struggled to finish it. So, we passed some to my cousin's family so they can get a taste and don't miss the wonderful taste. They were happy to try and enjoyed the meal as well.
