Hi Everyone,

Going to Thailand means you stuff your bellies full with multiple meals a day. We love the food and drinks in Thailand in particular we try to look for a nice dessert place to rest our feet in the afternoon. One of our friends in Thailand suggested we should try Pang Cha, a famous dessert place with bread and shaved ice with various toppings on top.

We saw how big it was so we ordered one serve plus a serve or roti in case the shaved ice wasn’t a hit for the boys. We also ordered a drink version of the Pang Cha (forgot the name) as it looks pretty amazing on the menu. We ordered the best seller original Pang cha which is like milk tea flavoured. There are various flavours to choose from but we wanted the original. This brand also is a Michelin recommendation.

The dessert takes a while to make but it arrived quickly and it was standing huge on the table. There were lots of favoured shaved ice, lots of bread pieces at the bottom to dip the sauce, lots of condensed milk, various tapioca pearls, honey and more. The way the ice is shaved the texture was like candy floss and it was very fluffy. One serve I would recommend 3-4 people to finish it as the bread at the bottom was pretty filling. Surprisingly it wasn’t as sweet as I imagined, mainly due to the black tea taste of the original flavour so it wasn’t like you were eating candy the whole time.

The roti came out nice and hot with the best dipping sauce. That sauce is very similar to the Pang Cha and it’s a clear winning amongst us! It complimented perfectly with the roti and you just want to have more and more of it. The drink came and it’s like drinking a liquid form of the Pang Cha. Overall, I highly recommend having the Pang Cha (original flavour) and roti. It’s not like street food cheap but you are getting a nice serving of the dessert imo is well worth it to try at least once.
