Today I want to share a simple recipe to make Kimbap. For Korean dramas lovers or anything about Korea, you must know this very famous menu. Kimbab is usually made for lunch or for a picnic. Made from nori or dried seaweed and rice, Kimbab has a wide variety of fillings. Some are filled with various processed seafood, some are filled with vegetables.

Of course, food lovers also know that kimbab has the same shape as Sushi. The rice for Sushi is mixed with vinegar, while the rice for Kimbab is mixed with a little sesame oil and salt. Hmm ... It seems that this is also suitable for dinner while watching your favorite drama.

This time, I tried a simple recipe to make Kimbab.


The main ingredients:

*2-4 sheets of Nori
*White rice (actually in addition to white rice, you can also use brown rice. Do it according to taste)
*Sesame oil
*mayonnaise
*Tomato sauce
*1 Cucumber
*1 carrot
*3 pieces of crabsticks
*1 egg.


How to make:


  • For the filling, fry the crabsticks over medium heat, remove and drain. Cut lengthwise.

  • Boil carrots and cut into small pieces. For cucumbers, cut them to the same size as carrots. The skin can be peeled or not. Suit one's taste.

  • Fried egg rolls with a mixture of a little salt. Cut lengthwise like cucumbers and carrots.

Making Kimbab


-Mix the rice with three drops of sesame oil and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

_prepare bamboo sushi, cover with plastic. Place the nori on the bamboo, then spread the rice over the surface of the nori. Arrange the filling over the rice. Then roll it with a little pressure to make it solid.

When finished, cut into six pieces or according to taste.
