I want to share a simple recipe that Aqil, my nephew really likes. If you have a question, what menu does he like the most? Looks like Chicken Curry is the answer!
Besides being simple, Chicken Curry is really a common menu for Indonesians. There is no need for a special event to make this menu served on the dining table. In fact, apart from being a friend of rice, Chicken Curry can also be eaten with Lontong (rice cake)

- 1 medium-sized chicken, cut into eight or ten
- Red onion
- Garlic
- Candlenut
- Coriander
- Pepper powder
- Coconut cream
- Galangal
- Ginger
- Turmeric
- Lime Leaves
- Bay leaf
- Sugar
- Salt
- Oil for frying
- Water
- Broth powder
- Lemongrass
- wash the chicken
- Puree the onion, garlic, candlenut, turmeric, and coriander.
- crushed ginger, galangal, and lemon grass
- Prepare oil. Once hot, add the ground spices. Add Ginger, Galangal, lemongrass stalks, bay leaves, and lime leaves. Saute until fragrant.
- After the spices are cooked, add water.
- Enter the chicken that has been washed clean.
- add coconut milk and powdered broth
- Cook until the chicken is soft and the water is slightly reduced.
- Serve the Chicken Curry into the prepared bowl.
Tadaa...! Chicken Curry is ready to eat.
