The month of August already ended a week ago, but we in our team do still have a hangover of it.
We almost weren't able to start the month of August with a blast because COVID is not our friend, and we got a close contact at that time. But surprisingly, we still got to make the most out of it.
The first week of August is full of unhealthy foods over the table hahaha 😅. Our diet was ruined but as crazy as it may sound, we never really cared about it, since they're mostly for free. Our health is at risk, our weighing scale is already shaking, and our tummies are already in a dilemma.

CIAN'S BIRTHDAY
It was Cian’s birthday on August 2, but sadly he went on vacation leave on that day, hence giving us no chance to surprise him on that day. But the very next day after his birthday, we surprised him and there the magic happened. A lot of foods arrived, too many to mention, left and right. Some were foods from his friends, from him, and from us, his co-workmates/friends. We enjoyed our lunch together while maintaining proper health protocols. We really had fun, especially since we’re celebrating and eating foods all for free 😆.
MISS PAT'S BIRTHDAY
A few weeks after Cian’s birthday came Miss @patsitivity’s, our supervisor. We surprised her on that day that even our other workmates from Compostela came to our office to celebrate her birthday. We are complete on her birthday and it is such a once in a blue moon phenomenon. Our tummies are full once again. Our pants are already getting smaller and smaller.
CIAN GOT BORED
Remember our first post? we have mentioned in Cian's intro that "when he's bored, he treats his friends", and guess what, he got bored a lot of times this month.😜
The day after his birthday, he suddenly ordered two dozens of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
OUR BOSS IS THE BEST
Days after Miss Pat's birthday, our boss, Sir Stan gave us money and we had another birthday celebration for her which we bought pizza from
Angel's Pizza and it is now our favorite pizza (their Creamy Spinach Dip Pizza is a must try) 😍. Then after a week, he brought a famous Filipino dessert cake ,which is the
sans rival because our workmate/ her secretary just came back after a month of being quarantined. We had another celebration on the third month of August and got another
Angel's Pizza and a peach mango pie which was sponsored by the wife of our Area Sales Manager.
WAIT, THERE'S MORE
One of our newly hired colleague also celebrate her first payroll by treating us with milk tea together with fries care from another colleague. Then on a weekend OT, Jaya felt generous and ordered us some smoothies. We were once again treated for free food and we’re not even complaining hahaha.
Free food over free food over free food, and it all just happened in the month of August. This never really happened in other months, we’re also surprised at how it seemed like foods don’t stop from coming, but who are we to complain for blessings. Really thankful for this month and we hope that September will also be good to us hahaha. Free food coming right up!

People came and go from time to time, but the ones that are true and genuine leave something behind, a mark that we'll treasure forever. This blog will be a long journey of storytelling, love, fun, heartbreaking, and all of the emotions of four individuals that have different personalities; but still met, working together in the same department, and later became close friends.
