My warmest greetings to one and all especially to this wonderful community. Hope everybody is healthy and doing great today!

It is a beautiful and sunny day today and I'm inspired to share with you what we did that made our day!

Let's enjoy these tropical flavors as a spread in our sandwiches with this mango jam. It is easy to make and prepare in which it has a sweet flavor that we can enjoy for this mango season.

Mango is one of my favorite fruits. I would love to eat ripe and unripe mangoes. I am always excited when it is mango season because I'm gonna prepared something special from the mango fruits.

Last day, I visit my parents-in-law at the farmland where they lived. My mother-in-law was excited to see me and immediately offer their harvested mangoes. Some were unripe mangoes and some are ripe too. The ripe mangoes were mostly caught from the ground under the mango trees.

When we got home, we brought 1 sack of mangoes and were worried about what to do to the ripe one though we could not consume them all immediately. We give some of the fruits to our neighbors. We innovate something out of these ripe mango fruits and decided to make mango jam.

The Simple Ingredients

1/2 kilo of Ripe Mangoes
1/4 kilo of white sugar

The Preparations

Step 1. Wash the ripe mangoes and slice them. We only use the front and the back side of the fruit. We don't use the seed side, you can set it aside.

Step 2. Scrub the mango fruit and separate the mango peel. Put the mango to be used in a container. Ripe mangoes were good to use than the overripe ones.

Step 3. You can blend it manually so that it will turn into smaller pieces or it would be better to use a blender to make it easy.

The Procedures

Step 1. Turn the fire to medium heat and prepare the frying pan.

Step 2. Pour the blend of mango fruit extract and stir for 3 to 5 minutes to soften those other parts.

Step 4. Let it boil and mixed it again. Observe the texture of the mango.

Step 5. Cook it for 15 to 20 minutes and when it's done, we transferred it to the container and let it cool.

Step 6. Refrigerate the jam and it would be delicious and taste well when you serve it cool. Refrigeration also preserves the mango jam for about a week.

This is now our homemade Indian Mango Jam, a sandwich spread that is easy to prepare and delicious in every taste. The mango jam is enticing to one's appetite. This is perfect for our family and friends in our snacks and serves as our appetizer. Snacks as well as food will add happiness to everyone's gathering.
