Today I was bored at home wanting to eat something different so I decided to prepare some fairly simple sandwiches, we had a slightly reduced budget but many times these limitations are the window to experimentation, and these experiments can result in a quite delicious meal.
In this way, I wanted to make the sandwiches with fried eggs and vegetables, a mixture that may sound a bit strange but when well executed it turns out very well.
As ingredients I used:
- A pack of sandwich bread.
- A dozen eggs.
- 4 large tomatoes.
- Lettuce.
- Venezuelan fries for hot dogs.
- Ketchup.
- Mayonnaise.
I always like to take care of the vegetables first, so I sliced the tomatoes into rather thin pieces and let the Lettuce soak for a long time in water.
Sometimes we use onion but I felt it was not the right thing today, so I limited myself to tomato and lettuce.
The next step is to fry the eggs, this is a task that can intimidate many people but we have a small pan that is perfect for these occasions, the eggs do not stick and it is quite easy to prepare them.
Without much more to add, the next step was to assemble them, although it seems that the order of the factors does not alter the product, it is very important to organize the relationship of the vegetables with the other ingredients well, so that they do not have the opportunity to moisten them.
I started with the bread, obviously, and then I spread some sauce with a knife (Mayonnaise, tomato sauce and a touch of mustard), put the Lettuce, then the tomato, and used the egg as a dividing wall between these vegetables and the fries.
It is a fairly simple and inexpensive recipe that can get us out of trouble, I hope you enjoyed reading me!

Hoy estaba aburrido en casa con ganas de comer algo distinto así que decidí preparar unos sándwiches bastante sencillos, teníamos un presupuesto un poco reducido pero muchas veces estas limitaciones son la ventana a la experimentación, y estos experimentos pueden resultar en comidas bastante deliciosas.
De esta forma, quise hacer los sándwiches con huevos fritos y vegetales, una mezcla que puede sonar un poco extraña pero que siendo bien ejecutada resulta muy bien.
Como ingredientes usé:
- Un paquete de pan de sándwich.
- Una docena de huevos.
- 4 tomates grandes.
- Lechuga.
- Papas fritas para hot dogs.
- Salsa de tomate.
- Mayonesa.
Siempre me gusta encargarme primero de los vegetales, así que rebané los tomates en piezas bastante delgadas y dejé remojando la Lechuga u buen tiempo en agua.
A veces usamos cebolla pero sentí que no era lo indicado hoy, así que me limité al tomate y la Lechuga.
El siguiente paso es freír los huevos, está es una tarea que puede intimidar a mucha gente pero tenemos un sartén pequeño que resulta perfecto para estas ocasiones, los huevos no se pegan y es bastante fácil prepararlos.
Sin mucho más que agregar el siguiente paso fue armarlos, aunque parezca que el orden de los factores no altera el producto es muy importante organizar bien la relación de los vegetales con los demás ingredientes, de forma que no tengan la oportunidad de humedecerlos.
Empecé con el pan, obviamente, y luego unté un poco de salsa con un cuchillo (Mayonesa, salsa de tomate y un toque de mostaza), puse la Lechuga, luego el tomate, y usé el huevo como una pared divisoria entre estos vegetales y las papas fritas.
Es una receta bastante simple y económica que puede sacarnos de un apuro, espero hayan disfrutado leerme!
